haha not weird at all. i thought about it later. i couldn't smell them unfortunately. i'm sure if we got to take pics actually with them, i would have noticed. next time...

Their cologne lingered on my jacket for like 5 days after  I didn't want to feel like a freak, but I did smell it a few times  The smell has since gone  but I had borrowed that jacket from my friend and still haven't given it back to her, haha BTW, Caleb looks so good in that sweater and hat! |

I met them after I flew from London to see a show in New York at Webster Hall in Sept 08. Caleb was a dick and strolled straight out with his girlfriend and sat in the car sulking. Jared and Nate were nice guys, I chatted to them, my girlfriend took a few pics (Jared flirted with her a little, telling her his best mate has the same camera). Even though Jesse was with Nathan he was still a dude and gave me a hug saying "Dude, hugs are for free". Matt didnt even appear, afterwards Caleb drove off and Jared and Nathan walked off into the New York night, think they were headed to a bar to party. Was great to meet them but it disappointed me that Caleb didnt have time for anyone, he has everything he could want, why he cant spare a few minutes that would mean so much is a shame. I now think Nathan and Jared are the lads of the band, thats just me though.

i agree savanna... achurley, you say caleb was with his girlfriend...i'm sure they don't see each other often enough, cause that's what it's like when you're in love, you cannot get enough of your partner...so i wouldn't be mad with him just because he walked straight to the car...it's different when you meet them after a show because they come out to actually meet their fans...you met them when they were spending their spare time i guess...so...just don't be mad.  |

I've met them three times now I have to say each time they were gentlemen. One of the times Nathan wasn't in the mood for a picture but he was polite about it.
achurley, I suppose it's at the guys discrection how they act around fans when their gfs are with them but perhaps when Caleb is with his girlfriend he feels that's private time and he doesn't want to have to deal with fans then.
Also we all get in to bad moods sometimes I don't want to have to deal with people!

i understand you cant be in a good mood for everyone all the time, but it just pissed me off at the time and i cant help but think of him in a certain way since, first impressions count for a lot. im happy he isnt like that all the time, good to hear you guys have had better experiences. when someone meets their hero it can make or break their impressions of them, broke em for me... maybe i'll get smashed with him someday and erase the bad experience

It's just that things are really starting to get massive for them and it must be annoying when people want a piece of you all the time. It suck you had a bad experience with Caleb but from a personally point of view anytime I've met him he's been really nice, funny and up for a bit of banter (see my quote in my sig ). Hopefully when you meet them again you'll get the same |

And you said you see Jared as one of the nicest of the group, so that just kind of says that it's dependent on how they felt and acted at the time. I really hope you have the chance to see that Caleb is really very nice! |

i met them back in 2005.
They were really good lads, and i managed to get a photo with jared. they all stopped to sign things and chat to people.
though this was a while back, and there were less of us waiting for them. and the only reason i got a photo with jared and not the others was because i harrased him for one being slightly obsessed!!!! he was lovely, and his mates nipped my arse.
that same gig the lads were really nice halfway through the performance. there mates were dancing in front of us (we were front row), and the security were trying to move them. so the kings stopped playing, had a go at the security and then checked we were allright and that their mates werent any bother (this was mainly caleb), and this was mid performance too!!!
oh, the nicest one.....NACHO!!!!! we chatted to hism for agesssss

ive met them once.  they where all really lovely. jared took alot of time with everyone, matt was very cute and posed well for photos.Nate was quieter than i thought he'd be but very kindly posed for pictures and was a genral cool guy. and caleb. . was the best! ok im biased but he spent alot of time with us guys that had travelled, was joking and laughing.posed for several pics, and was a real sweetheart with me even when i asked him for an autograph for a sceound time. true gentlemen. although i am aware that this is not always the case. im glad i met them, and would obviously like to again. but if i dont it doesnt matter now. |

I'm so jealous of all you guys I waited after the Orlando show to meet them and only Nacho came out! I couldn't wait for them at the St. Augustine concert because it was impossible to get back to the tourbuses with all the security and barriers around. bummer. |
