it's not so much the sound as the emotion he emits with his vocals. only true singers can give that across.
if i was in the position to make one wish come true, right now it would be to play caleb and matt's guitars. i can't play but by golly i'd have fun!!

Ugh, earlier I was listening to Day Old Blues, and my dad was like "can we do away with this, it sounds like someone in pain"!!! I was like "its called singing" lol. Then he said it sounds like someone on the floor being punched and kicked!!  How can he say that, Caleb's got a lovely gorgeous sexy voice |

eyelashes, I don't know if you are aware of this, but dad's go through dad training, so they can do it properly. When your dad said that he wasn't necessarily expressing his own opinion he was just being a true professional.
(Though Caleb does sound a bit as though he's in pain - cause he's expressing something painful.)

I think it's a very bad yodel. Or a non-yodellers attempt to yodel. Like that "High on a Hill lived a Lonely Goatherd" song from the Sound of Music. Doesn't stop me loving that song though  |
