Excellent thread.
Prolly bit late for anyone to care but.. i love the bit in Charmer a few have mentioned, i always thought it was Caleb or Nathan till i saw the video and it live. Also cow bell or triangle bit Nathan plays at end of Milk and the way Caleb says 'Milk' The fact he mentions Withnail in King of the Rodeo (my personal favourite song) The extra bit Caleb does live on the end of King of the Rodeo The drumming throughout McFearless And most recently the effing immense drumming on Sex on Fire and how damn tight they all sound on it. Fantastic, quickly rising up my favourite songs list that one.
Y'all are so nice on here Peace

Most of these have probably been said before... I seriously think "I stand by" in McFearless MAKES that song! I love it so much, and the way it sounds like they're in an echoey room the drums are awesome as well, which has been mentioned lots. The "meeeow" at the very end of Spiral Staircase :] Caleb's "No no no no nono" in Genius. Someone playing pool in the background of the piano version of Dusty, about 17 seconds in. Nathan's count in on California Waiting makes me laugh so much, he sounds so country haha

I love the bar noises at the end of My Third House where Caleb sings lazily over it. I think of more later.

"The tribe has spoken" Trani-studio what is all this i hear about trani? how many versions are there?!?!! he just means the studio version of trani as opposed to any live versions, like on day old belgian blues or anything. listen at the veeryy end and turn it up really loud and someone (i think nathan) says "the tribe has spoken"

This is so wierd i was thinking about this the other day! I love it when you pick up on little things and it makes the song For me, off the top of my head definitely - McFearless "I stand byyyy", more live than studio though because it's more clear Fans - the way Caleb sings me/be/see, my little sister pointed that out to me first of all and i have to admit it's one of the things that makes the song for me. Also in Fans the very end, Matt's guitar like the last 10 seconds. Love it! The bass in Charmer where it sounds like someone's going "Ooof!" The instrumental at the end of Milk. All of Knocked Up to be honest, can't fault that song. Towards the end of Manhattan, no idea what he's saying, but it's the line before something about resevoirs? Caleb sounds lovely there Molly's Hangover, when it all kicks in at the end, especially about the last 20 seconds? and you can hear the acoustic kick in and the bass accompanies it really well, i wish it carried on a bit longer! And also the way Caleb says "ear" haha The "ooooh" in My Party and the drums in the song The end of Ragoo and SNSL Oh and all of Arizona, i love it so much I'm going to stop now, basically i love all their songs!

Dunno? It's not Genius i'm thinking of and i've just listened to Happy Alone and that's not it either. It's like a little "c'mon" all by itself i think?

It's sooo quite too, I thought I'd missed it. It's cool. I like at 1.39 in The Bucket that Jared sings along with 'you kicked the bucket', I never noticed it until I saw the video. Fans - the way Caleb sings me/be/see, my little sister pointed that out to me first of all and i have to admit it's one of the things that makes the song for me. Oh and all of Arizona, i love it so much These are two of my favourite things too, I love the me-e-e-e-e in Fans <3

That's weird, I'm listening to Red Morning Light now. I like the live version at Glastonbury where Caleb says something like "C'mon boys, C'MON!"
It's class!
I love the "Wooo" near the start of The Bucket

Me too It's like, one of the best parts of the song! I think the crowd should do it, the way they carry on with the backing in Knocked Up. If they play Knocked Up when I see them I'll go insane!
