Im giving you Karma cuz you've popped up in everything that Im in recently, and you actually have something usually quite decent and intelligent to say, so, to demonstrate my appreciation for you on this site...here is your karma.

I just got my kol tickets in the mail today (wooohoo) and then as I was sitting in the movie theater tonight seeing Broken Flowers, this horrible thought crossed my mind -- did I check to make sure that the Ryman is all ages? I'm 17 and I'll have an adult with me, so I don't forsee it being a problem. but I just wanted to double check, and I had a hard time figuring it out online. so before I have a panic attack..... is it all ages?

You should be fine, if it weren't all ages Im certain the ticket would announce it. Considering that most of the KOL fanbase are 15-25 year old's, they'll keep as many shows all ages as possible. I wouldn't worry.

Yes, goldenfallingheart, the Ryman is an all ages venue (actually they sometimes have a rule against little little kids - like nobody under 6 or something) but everyone on this board will be okay.

Argh! I dont think I can go now!!! My friend has a schedule conflict and can't go now, I can't find anyone else to go w me. I have no problem going by my self to other shows, but driving alone for 6 hours both ways, that would suck. It sux because we already ahve the tickets, so we can't really sell em here, or anything...and I still really wanna go. Wahhh! I don't know what to do.

Columbus, OH...I really wanna go, but usually we hang with the bands afterword, and I dont know that I'll have the balls I usually have to chat up with the rockstars (again). Thats one of the main reasons why we were going, to send a little goodbye to Secret Machines (Benjamin) cuz I wont see him when KOL come through here in September. Boo Hoo.

How good are your tickets? I really think you should go. I want to go, but I refuse to pay scalper prices.

Man if you were only a few more hours north I'd so buy that ticket from you and trip it to Tennessee. Just how good are your tickets...?

I dunno for sure, my friend has the tickets. I'll check and post it when I know. There is still a possibility that I'll go, I was thinkin that if my friends fail me I would go to HappyAlone and see is someone would come with or meet me the extra ticket is free. I dunno, what do you all think I should do? I do really wanna go.

I went alone to the show here in Detroit and met some awesome people, and that was in the prick infested Michigan...Kings fans are usually pretty drunk and easy to get along with...anyhow. If the seats are decent and I felt that it might be worth it, I might be willing to work something out with you.

I was at the Detroit show! Were you waiting after by the side of the building at all. You may have seen me and my pals, we were the only ones who got in the back lot with KOL, SM, and SOL. Yeah, the only reason why Im still debatng this is that I've seen them now 6 times this year, which is pretty damn lucky. So, when I find out where the seats are I'll let you know, and if I plan on going, Im down with meeting you. Im on myspace, btw. I added you: www.myspace.com/laurenam10185

I was by the buses for a while. I met this group of people who invited me to drink with them after the show and I lost them in the crowd. They had mentioned they wanted to meet the band so I waited around to see if they'd show and they never did. So I bullshitted with Nacho for a bit then took off. I might've seen you. Don't know.
Wow...you've seen them alot. That's awesome.
Anyhow, yeah I added you back. I'm still down for working something out or what not, so shoot me one of those awesome "myspace messages" once you know if you're going and all that.

hey, it's getting close to the day. in case any happyaloners are wanting to go somewhere after the show, can we say officially - we should meet at: There's a cool under-21-friendly 24 coffeeshop/cafe called Cafe Coco that I would recommend. They have a great front patio and also a back deck too. From The Ryman, take a RIGHT on Broadway (heading away from the river). Take a RIGHT on 13th, (but don't get on the interstate), and take a LEFT on Church Street (it runs parallel to Broadway but you can't take it all the way from downtown due to some one-way issues). Church turns into Elliston when you cross 21st. Keep a lookout for Exit/In on your right, and after you pass it, make a RIGHT on Louise. Cafe Coco is up the street on the right. There's a map here: www.cafecoco.com/Map.html.
