well, it's pretty much official, I'm going to the nashville show, woohoo! the seating thing, well I'm not so sure about that... I've gotta find a way to get good seats even if it's from those damn scalpers. whatever works, I guess. anyway, I'm so excited about being surrounded by happyaloners!
haha wow, I feel kind of like a dork saying that. like I'm going to a star wars convention or something.

Hello all, I see some talk from out-of-towners about trying to find a place in Nashville (to go eat after the concert) that's under-21-friendly. There's a cool 24 coffeeshop/cafe called Cafe Coco that I would recommend. They have a great front patio and also a back deck too. From The Ryman, take a RIGHT on Broadway (heading away from the river). Take a RIGHT on 13th, (but don't get on the interstate), and take a LEFT on Church Street (it runs parallel to Broadway but you can't take it all the way from downtown due to some one-way issues). Church turns into Elliston when you cross 21st. Keep a lookout for Exit/In on your right, and after you pass it, make a RIGHT on Louise. Cafe Coco is up the street on the right. There's a map here: www.cafecoco.com/Map.html.

I found out today that I AM going to the concert, so my uncle didn't flake out on me and my cousin. Does anyone know if the place that they're playing will have a seating arrangement or if it'll be a place where you are standing up and can get as close as you want to?

no, it's seated... and if you don't have tickets you better find some as quick as you can, cause most of the good ones are gone. I was lucky and found some today. my seats are pretty decent, but I'm hoping there's at least a little room to move around once you get there...

hey, all, the ryman is a venue where all the seats should be pretty decent.
if you don't know about it, it was originally built to house the tent revivals that came through town, so it's interesting that we have the followills playing there, isn't it?

Perhaps all the HappyAloners should wear a red rose or some sort of insignia to distinguish ourselves....That'd be the ultimate in dorky thing, so we should totaly do it. Hahaha. We could all wear KOL buttons, stickers, Black wristbands...uhhhh. I can totally do my hair like Caleb's, if you see a girl with reddish hair with a Caleb do, then its most likely me...shoot me a howdy. See you all real soon, and all of you had better behave your selves at the show, or else (growl).

I feel like such an idiot, I was so excited about going to this concert and now I can't because my Uncle is a flake and decides to go out and gamble instead, which he always does. I knew that I shouldn'tve trusted him because it always turns out like this, and now I'm really sad because I wanted to see them live so bad and I can't believe that I actually let myself believe that my Uncle would do something for a change.

Now I have to start taking some medicine and test on the weekends until mid Sept.

I'm sorry, I hope it's nothing serious and that you feel better. Hopefully we'll both get our chances to see them in concert!
