ok, so i was wondering has anyone else has KOL-related incident?
i'll throw mine down.
i thought i was home alone, dancing around in my underwear when four kicks came on. naturally, i went for it complete with full-on air guitar and power slide.
but then i heard the door bang and it was my little brother's best mate stood there.
i still can't look him in the eye and it's been 2 years.

Haaaa i was in bed and i couldnt sleep so i got guitar out and started singing talihina sky (rather loudly) then my dad walked in and cba to write the rest

my ex co-workers (at the cafe i used to work at) used to tease me all the time about my obsession. one of them would tell me that he heard they were playing a secret myspace show in san diego. he told me this like once a week and every single time i beleived him! i'm so gullible!!

i dont really have any embarrassing moments... but at the last concert i went to i was singing every single word to every single song and dancing (and i felt that no one else really was around me...) but i didnt care their concerts are AWESOME crazy. i wanted to scream marry me.. but i figured that might be a tad embarrassing, ya know? haha

When I met Matt I told him I was scared of dogs and he looked at me weirdly. There was a dog tied to a pole right next to us. omg wtf?! hahaha that is too funny! but it would be funnier if you said it with a straight face staring at him... did you?!!!! hahahah i love it! would you have seriously said that if i could decide or was it just nerves? |

i was listening to Charmer at school and i was feeling the song soooo much that i forgot i was singing out loud. My friend recorded me on her phone and posted it on her myspace!! luckily i found it before anyone had a chance to see and demanded that she took it down, every time i think about that video i cringe at myself eeekkk  |

Heh, yesterday, i was on the plane on my way home, and listened to KOL of course. You know how your ears get like all stuffed when you're on a plane? Yeah, so I didn't really hear much of the music so i turned it up really loud and automatically started to sing along, quite loud too. In the middle of Pistol of Fire my mum poked me and told me to stop the singing 'cause the people behind us was laughing  I didn't think anyone heard me! Ugh, embarrasssssed. |

Well one day i was listening ASH while having lunch and no-one else was in the house so naturally i decided to sing a long as loud as possible and do a bit of head banging while eating when there's a knock on the window and my uncle and cousin are standing there! They didn't say anything but i was wondering did they stand there and laugh at me for a while before knocking. Maybe they didn't notice at all......wishful thinking!  |

I embarass myself every time I see them live. I tell myself beforehand I'm going to act calm and be normal, but then I get so excited I end up singing, screaming and jumping up and down like an idiot!

the second time i went to see them i was soo excited and totally obsessed and my family knew about my obsession so they planned for my mum to call me and pretend that she just heard on the radio that kol had been in a car crash and cant make the gig so i was going crazy like soo upset and gutted wen they sed only kidding and i was soo embaressed..like i made such a huge deal about the accident ha.

at college today i was on a break and there weren't many people around. so i was singing 'knocked up' to my friend really loudly. he was laughing and i thought it was just because i was being stupid, but he kept moving his eyes to something behind me. i turned round and there was the principal with a bunch of visitors trying their best to ignore me. i almost died.
i mean, a girl sat singing the words 'i don't care what nobody says, we gonna have a baby' to a boy? doesn't look good.

the second time i went to see them i was soo excited and totally obsessed and my family knew about my obsession so they planned for my mum to call me and pretend that she just heard on the radio that kol had been in a car crash and cant make the gig so i was going crazy like soo upset and gutted wen they sed only kidding and i was soo embaressed..like i made such a huge deal about the accident ha. why dont ppl realise its not funny to taunt ppl with obsessions as big as ours??!! we wer sitting in the pit for ages for the opening band, this security guy was leanin on th barrier behind us goes 'aw lads did u hear the news?' and we wer like huh? and he goes 'kings of leon aren't even here yet, they're plane is stuck in london, we dont know yet if they'll make it' i was freakin out on the inside but we sorta copped he was messing with us, cruuuuuel! i havent had an embarrassing moment but it was awkward once wen i was walkin sumwher with my sisters friend, really lovely girl, and making small talk. i was super excited cuz i the kol gig and afterparty was coming up and she was like 'its so random, a friend of mine was at the guys stag night in toronto, cuz u no they're from there...' i didnt no wat to say!! i couldnt point out ther was no way that was true so i was just like 'ah...cool' |

a few embarssaing moments... 1) my friend and i were singing like crazy during the show, and this girl next to me (who didn't even know the Kings but who came because her life is so boring and that she had nothing else to do) told me to shut up because she was trying to listen to them. we got in some kind of fight and the security guy kept laughing..... since we were front row, like 1 meter away from Caleb (!), i hope the guys didn't see us....  2) we were like 2 of the very few people waiting outside the venue, in a small and dark street (haha), and the first floor's window was open and we kept seeing the guys pass (with drinks in their hands). at one point, Jared came to the window and talked to my friend and i. he told us they were having a small party because it was Nathan's birthday, and that they would come out in a while. we told him we would wait and he said see you later then. and while he was leaving, my friend yelled "can we come ?!" i was like "are you crazy!! it's Nathan's bday party! it's like their private party, we're not invited!!" ......i don't know what Jared thought of that! 3) i told Matt i didn't need a big autograph to remember him 4) i sent Matt and Caleb a blow kiss when their taxi was right next to us.... i couldn't help it, he was so close..... but they smiled and waved so i guess it's not SO embarassing (just a bit)  5) when we were finally leaving, we passed infront of a store and we saw in the window that our shirts were completely see-through. it was so hot during the show that people were throwing A LOT of water on the crowd, so we were soaked but we were too excited to realize it!  but it was the most amazing night!!!!!! |

The most embarrassing thing is my crowd surfer story. I stood front row at their gig at a Belgian festival. There were a lot of crowd surfers, the one more heavy than the other. There was this one, quite corpulent guy who thought it would be a great idea to be lifted by small, young girls. Indeed, he landed on top of me. The people around me formed a circle, dragged the guy away from me and helped me back up. This happened right under Jared's nose, so when I saw him looking I jumped up and waved like a retard. Embarrassing  . I did get a smile from him though. He probably felt sorry for me, haha. |
