lucky i went to the second sydney show and got FRONT ROWWW!!! the only embarassing thing about that show is i walked away with nathan's chewing gum, which might i add, STILLLLLLLLLLLL smells like strawberry, all this time later. people think im nuts when i tell em i own it. if i ever meet any of you happyaloners, i shall let u smell it. i get some sick satisfaction, which i am embarassed about, that i know what his gum smells like ok... how do you people get front row seats?!!! you must have connections!!!!!! i would LOOOOVVEEEE to sit front row jeezzzz. and where do you keep that gum of yours? haha in your closet or something in a ziplock im guessing? id love to smell that....... haha its simple (and extremely boring): to get front row, u line up outside the venue for hoursss before and wait like a loser. thats what i did twice. first time wasnt so lucky coz i only went like 3 hours before. not good enough. the gum.. i actually keep it above my head - it and caleb's pik just sit on the shelf of my computer table. i havent figured out a way of conserving it. but, i mean, like i said, it still has its smell and its still squishy, coz i think this method of conservation is pretty effective. every now and then i think to myself "HOLY SHIT!! i own nathan followill's gum!!!!".. i mean its awesome having calebs pik, but gum? cmon!! thats so damn rock n roll! next on my list is sleeping with one of em... i joke i joke

a few embarssaing moments... 1) my friend and i were singing like crazy during the show, and this girl next to me (who didn't even know the Kings but who came because her life is so boring and that she had nothing else to do) told me to shut up because she was trying to listen to them. we got in some kind of fight and the security guy kept laughing..... since we were front row, like 1 meter away from Caleb (!), i hope the guys didn't see us.... 2) we were like 2 of the very few people waiting outside the venue, in a small and dark street (haha), and the first floor's window was open and we kept seeing the guys pass (with drinks in their hands). at one point, Jared came to the window and talked to my friend and i. he told us they were having a small party because it was Nathan's birthday, and that they would come out in a while. we told him we would wait and he said see you later then. and while he was leaving, my friend yelled "can we come ?!" i was like "are you crazy!! it's Nathan's bday party! it's like their private party, we're not invited!!" ......i don't know what Jared thought of that! 3) i told Matt i didn't need a big autograph to remember him 4) i sent Matt and Caleb a blow kiss when their taxi was right next to us.... i couldn't help it, he was so close..... but they smiled and waved so i guess it's not SO embarassing (just a bit) 5) when we were finally leaving, we passed infront of a store and we saw in the window that our shirts were completely see-through. it was so hot during the show that people were throwing A LOT of water on the crowd, so we were soaked but we were too excited to realize it! but it was the most amazing night!!!!!! OMG WHERE THE %$# WAS THAT?!! hahah!?? you got to talk to jared, matt, and see them more than once?! where was that and when? you are sooo lucky! haha that was in paris, in june..... yeah i got to talk to jared and matt (a bit) but i only saw them once. IT WAS SOOO GREAT!!!

the places i go tho arent really venues.. its like seating ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP and a small mosh pit in the front.. and the band looks like toy soldiers (as a comparison of distance) but i would def. wait a while to get front row!!

hmm don't have any real embarrassing incidents but while I was doing yoga once I was watching the kol dvd(bad choice). I kept on getting distracted by Caleb's sexiness that when I had to do this upside down stance thing I fell flat on head while singing charmer hahaha.
oh and in the car I was listening to charmer with my mum and the windows were open so my mum decided to try do caleb's famous scream in charmer...we were both there screaming our lungs out while the cars next to us were laughing their heads off. haha

wow i have been laughing my head off reading this. iv not had anything really embarressing but my mate did have to stop me from shouting at some people who were clapping along to the intro to milk. i realise this is mental but it drives me crazy i just really hate hearing that song ruined by all the clapping.

Well my embarrasing moments aren't too bad, but they're just really out of character for me. Whenever I get within shouting distance of Caleb I get all fangirl-ish and yell something really embarrasing. I'm more of a Nathan and Nacho gal, so I don't know why Caleb has this effect on me. In San Diego I yelled at him about how great the show was as he walked onto the tour bus. I got a fearful nod out of him.
Then there was Download Fest and I feel like such a bitch for having done this...so between songs this one girl yelled, "I love you Caleb!" and being the competitive fan that I am, I was compelled to yell at the top of my lungs "But I love you more!" from the very front row. I felt so ashamed immediately afterwards. I wasn't trying to one-up you my fellow fan. I need help. I promise to be good next time.

Karma for you, Groupielove! I was laughing out loud with your story! Oh well, I haven't got any embarrassing incidents about KOL, but I do have a couple involving Oasis and Albert Hammond Jr, just in case you wanna know, haha... First time I met Liam Gallagher I asked him where Noel was, and he told me he was doing some interviews and that he would join the rest of the band in a bit, to get on the bus and go to the venue. Me being thick as a brick, and rrrrreally nervous about talkin to Liam, thought "what the fuck?! They're goin to the venue by bus??!", of course he meant their tour bus, but I don't know why I was picturing them gettin on the city bus! I probably pulled quite a daft face, cos he looked at me and went "that bus, you know??" while pointing at their super bus, I couldn't help it and I started to laugh while he kept nodding as saying "you get it now??"... I looked like an idiot, but he was smiling... This one's even more embarrassing.... I went to see Albert Hammond Jr and this super tiny venue. We were at front row, and so close to the band that it was even uncomfortable, cos they could look you in the eye and hear everything you'd say... Anyway, my friend got a bit excited and in between songs she yelled "I love you!!", he thought it has been me, he looked straight into my eyes and went "No, I love you"... Since the place was so ridiculously small, everyone was in silence and the whole venue went "oooohhhh" you know that kind of "oh" that means "how cuuute", with everyone around us looking at me, god, my face went red as fuck, such an embarrassing moment...

I would have gone so red too! That's sweet though. Hmm..I will dream about Caleb saying that to me during a gig haha.

I've had a few....some haha...ill never share but here are afew -
Awhile ago I went to a public pool and they play music across their loudspeakers. Four kicks came on so in true fashion, I danced and sung like a maniac in the dressing room infront of the mirror, not realising there was women 50 yrs and over staring at me like I was on crack. I was pretty damn emabrassed so I ran out of there and slipped into the pool (I was in bathers thankfully haa).
Another time I was home alone and attempted to square dance to king of the rodeo and somehow lost my balance and fell down the stairs.
And the final one ill share - I was playing singstar and got rather bored with the song choices so I put my stero on and sang along to charmer with the singstar mic. I didn't realise the mic was on so loud that people could hear my 'screams and singing' outside.
EDIT: Haha I remembered another one... I was at the public library with a friend and I was pretty bored so I put my ipod on, forgot I was at a library and started singing 'soft'. Um...really, those lyrics aren't going to make any elderly people at a library smile haha...I got a heck of a lot of weird/dirty looks hahaha.

I met Nathan after a show and when I shook his hand, I went into the whole 6 step gangsta hand shake thing. You know the one where you pound fists and everything. I have no idea where that came from. I guess I just didn't want to let go of his hand. It was definitely embarrassing, like slow-mo embarrassing. He knew the shake though. karma for courage!!!

My shoe came off at a kings show last November, because of how close i was up (like a metre and a half away from the kings) and the tightness of the crowd and constant moshing up there - i couldn't get it back on. Needless to say i didn't stop dancing waving a shoe above my head - then i noticed Jared watching me and laughing. Embarrassing or cool? You decide...
