GOOD LORD, you people act like these guys are your heroes or something. Come off it. Of course they are some people's heroes. Just because you do not idolise them, don't disrespect and belittle the people who do. Personally, I idolise my favourite musicians as well. How can you not look up to the people who make the music that means so much to you? It's only natural. It is the way of our society, just look at the rabid crowds at any concert. Hah wow couldn't said t better myself PrickleyPorcupine. People do idolise them, music is a powerful thing.

i will agree that one can look up to a musician as a hero...especially the kings, they are great.
but, the fact that you find their music inspiring/brilliant/awesome/amazing/the-cream-in-you twinkie/whatever doesn't make them your best friend. A lot of great musicians are shitty people...it sucks that they turn their back on what made them "heroes", but that's life.
quit feeling sorry for yourselves and get over the fact that you might not get ur set list (that you probably printed off this message board) signed by the sires of leon.
