Fellows. Awesom word, I need to use it more often. I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but please don't let it stop you being a fan. It doesn't change how good the music is! Just enjoy that. yeah!

Really, what you are buying is their music, and their time they spend playing their music for those of us who love it. What you are not buying is a piece of them. Most of what I've heard tells me they are lovely guys who hang out with fans more than a lot of bands, but you should never take it personally if, at the one moment you choose to approach them, they have something else on their minds.

I have to admit, I thought hanging out with them would be like hanging out with Ghandi, Mary Poppins, Mother Thresa and Florance Nightingale at a tea party. Who would have thought they have ego's and didn't want to spend all night talking to fans i just made a hugely unattractive pig-noise laughing at that....... well said.

Guys we must think also from the other side, they must be pretty tired of having to deal with people wanting to talk to them, know them, get photos with them, and everything, they're human beings, they can have a fucked up day as we can have one, and they don't HAVE TO be active talkers to fans if they don't want to, cuz their obligation to us is on stage and not all the time, if they're nice then it's because they are, not because they HAVE TO be nice to us 'cause we're fans, I mean I'm not sayin' that they're making us a favour by talking to us but they don't have to do it either if they don't want to, and c'mon all of us would get rather weird if we had the attention they have, and to finish... well Caleb is like that sometimes, so, we shouldn't get too surprised and judge him like that, we all have bad days. At least his honest, I wouldn't like some rocker to go "awww you liked the show thanks here have the photo with me" and then turn around and insult me, if he's gonna be a bastard I prefer that to my face, so I could answer back.

to be honest, people often post their stories about meeting them and say how nice they all are. and ive met them, and i would 100% agree with that. so...like everyones saying, they are just human and were probably tired or something.
and yeah trust the art, not the artist is cool huh! i dont know who said it though!

ive met them briefly after two hammersmith shows and they were all really nice, generous people although i did think (especially after the gig on wednesday just gone) if i was in the same position as them im not sure id be as willing. i dont particularly like the idea of being famous. and the idea that a fan could know alot about you yet you have no idea who they are seems a bit scary yes. i am a hypocrite

i really want to meet them but then im worried if it will ruin the way i love them already. Like not knowing them but loving their music and understandin them through that. Im scared if they are not what i expect so it would suck if i met them and then it would be changed for ever.

i've met them a few times and each time i meet them, they are even nicer, which seems pretty remarkable because the first time i met them they were lovely. i think it's so nice of them that they are always willing to greet fans/chat to people etc.. i think caleb was prolly just tired or having a bad day- and jared isn't dull, he's really hilarious. taperjeangirl i doubt your vision of them would 'change for ever' if you met them; the majority of people have had good experiences with them so surely that is more telling? i think they are all a charming group of 'fellows' (eh prickley!!), it's funny you don't realise how young jared is until you meet him., he's a right teenager!

it's funny you don't realise how young jared is until you meet him., he's a right teenager! its funny you say that bc before i met him, i saw him on stage and was like wow "i can't believe he's my age" after one of their shows, they were playing pool. jared was jumping around, pretending that his billiards stick was a horse and riding it, because he had just beaten his older brothers. it was really cute. then i was like "yeah, he's definetly only 18" another funny thing that happened was that he didn't have the right change to play the game, so i gave him two quarters. who thought i would have to give spare change to one of the kings? but then he gave me a dollar in return. he's a sweetheart.

The first time I met them they were amazingly lovely and sweet and stuck around for ages making sure everyone had their stuff signed and photos taken etc. They had obviously just had a rough night after the Manchester show for whatever reason. It must be exhausting to be "on" all the time and they must get tired sometimes. Just unfortunate that when you saw them they weren't up for the whole fan thing. Can you imagine just HOW many times they have to do the whole signing thing etc? They are only human and it must get frustrating. Least Caleb changed his mind and signed stuff and made sure everyone was sorted before he went. And the show was incredible - they do get better and better.

nacho is actually amazing. is he their other brother/cousin or what? how's he related to them? i met them last night in doncaster at the aftershow thingymejig. although im sure it get's really repetative and i understand they have off days, and that i still LOVE their music and idolize them for what they do...they were rather...urm...offish with us too! i didnt speak to caleb or nathen and matthew was pleasant, jared...not so! i agree with what someone said above about not meeting idols as you're setting yourself up for dissapointment. i kinda wish i hadn't... but ill just stick with the fact that they were most probably not in the best of moods! and that askin for a sig was the last thing they wanted to do! xxxx

Yay! Someone who agrees! lol I mean I totally understand that they're human and have off days or whatever, but I wasn't even really speaking to Caleb, he was just standing next to me a literally shoved me out of his way because he couldn't see dynamo performing tricks! You don't do that to girls! I'm sure his momma wouldnt be pleased!
The rest of the guys were nice, Jared wasn't thrilling but he wasn't rude like Caleb.
I think the reactions on here are mostly because we don't want them to be that way. We all know Caleb is an ass, we just don't want him to be, but he knows he is too.
And why are we all so quick to criticise any female on here, like kimberley stewart when we haven't met her for ourselves??
meh...meh...meh
