Long ago I think it was 2003. I was bored, I switch on Channel [V] and the Molly's Chambers video was on. I was like...what in the world is this? (cuz at that time I used to listen to alternative and hard rock). After a year I see a video of Four Kicks, but I didn't realize that it was the same band lol. After a while, the beat of Molly's Chambers haunted my SOUL !!...AND I DIDN'T KNOW THE NAME OF THE SONG BACK THEN,SO I WAS SCREWED then I found out the band's name and downloaded all songs (searching for Molly's Chambers) and Molly's chambers was the only song I didn't download then I searched for KOL songs on itunes and preview every song and finally find the amazing song..and now....I'm a Followill junkie...I love KOL to death...

Followill Junkie...hmm. I like the sound of that. I shall call myself a Followill Junkie as well. I ought to make a t-shirt with that on it. I need a good slogun that says about my mad addiction to the Followills. Aaaaanyway, sidetrack there for a second. Continue...

During a long art exam in high school, my friend gave me Youth and Young Manhood to listen to. I hated every single song except for California Waiting, but I didn't give them a second listen and forgot about them for a year or so. And then one day I listened to California Waiting again and decided to give them another go, so I lended the album from the same friend an immediately fell in love.

I read an short article in some magazine, (smaller one, like Spin or something) in early 2003 and I read their short biogragraphy and saw a picture of them. I had long hair and was pretty scraggly and lived in a very small town. I was like, no way, these people sound like me and my friends, so I went out a few days later and bought Holy Roller Novocaine, as it was the only KOL out at the time and it was a HUGE breath of fresh air and I was immediatly hooked. Now its all down hill.

I remember reading a copy of People magazine while I was at a salon one day, and I read the review for ASH. I think they called them a cross between The Strokes (one of my favorite bands) and Lynryd Skynard, which was a combination that intrigued me. I went out and bought the album a few days later, I really enjoyed it, so I went back and bought Youth and Young Manhood as well. I obviously liked that as well. While they always remained one of my favorites, and I ended up going to see them at Summerfest last year, I was never really as gonzo for them as I was other bands (namely The Strokes and The Libertines). However, that all changed a few months ago when I caught a bit of Holy Roller Novacaine in the background of some TV show or movie I was watching and suddenly it clicked just HOW much I loved KOL. I've been hardcore in love with their music ever since.

Cillian Murphy is so hot. I'd take musical advice from him, especially now that I know he likes KOL.
