What are the funniest Kings of Leon lyrics you've misheard? In 'Velvet Snow' when he sings 'Showing off your Sunday streak of lace' I thought he was singing 'Showing off your sunny shaven legs'. Makes sense?

haha that's what I've always thought it was!
I know all their songs by heart, but I'm always singing my own version of the lyrics just 'cause I can never really understand Caleb (well, only on the YAYM and ASH songs). I fear that he's going to notice me mouthing the wrong words next time I'm up front and just give me a total "WTF?" look.
My sister thought Caleb was singing about a cheddar taco in 'Fans' when he really says "charity tight clothes." I'm not sure about what I've misheard. I'll have to look up some lyrics and figure out what I've been getting wrong this whole time.

there are a handful of male regulars. they're just not on right now...
and moonaged, i know exactly what you mean. when i first got into kol, i pretty much made up all the lyrics to their songs. slowly i interpreted most of them, but out of habit i can slip up and start yelling nonsense lyrics

i still don't know some of the lyrics
when i say them out loud to myself without singing along they make absolutely no sense at all. even less sense than they would if they were right.
seems i've got a bit to learn about these boards eh, only just joined today

There's a line in Head To Toe where I swear to god I'm hearing "a black guy with no a-hole". I'm sure that's not the lyric, but I hear it every time and crack up. Be a hell of a problem to have too.....

Be a hell of a problem to have too..... i know that lyric! first i thought it was "a black guy with no way home", but a friend informed me that it's actually "a black eye with no way home". hahahaha "a black guy with no a-hole"?! at least i was a bit closer than you...

Haha these are so funny.
In Soft I also thought it was 'I used to sleep, every day'. But that's not as funny.

i god... i know this is gonna sound so dirty... but for some reason i just remembered... in soft i thought caleb was she "u paint my pen-- and u paint my toes..." i swear to god he sings that line so fast it sounds like that...and i sang it for quite a while like that..then checked the ASH booklet, and saw it was "u paint my FINGERS and u paint my toes..." wow, i cant believe i just shared that with u all...

In Soft I also thought it was 'I used to sleep, every day'. But that's not as funny. It's not? What's he saying then? I always thought the line "You caught me whilst a lyin" was "You caught me with a lion, you caught me with my pants down." I thought it was about bestiality.

It's not from the Kings, but in 'I bet you look good on the dancefloor' by AM, where Alex sings: 'You're name isn't Rio but I don't care for sand', I always thought he was singing: 'You're name isn't real but I don't care for sound.' I swear, I thought it was one of the most poetic lines I ever heard, until I found out the real ones. What a turn off..

"Look at the shaky's whats with the blush Fresh off the plane in my fuzzy rush" -> "you get the shakers i get the bush, scratch off the pain in my fuzzy rush" ...ahh

I don't think i've misheard the lyrics. but there is a brilliant part during red morning light where caleb is putting no effort to say the words and instead he is basically just mumbling. I love it! x

i found the beginning of four kicks real hard to deciffer, hmm... i always think hes saying 'hot man dont take no nuts!' and i remember when i first heard king of the rodeo, i thought that at the end he was saying 'good time for rolo!'
