i was just listening to knocked up on my headphones and i hear some one saying something 5 seconds in. no idea what it is, any suggestions

I think it was recorded live, and a few things got left in. At some point you can supposedly hear a door shut or something too. I haven't listened to it that close. I'm sure another member of the forum can let you know exactly what was said.

i still think its "Hey dad".. and i think they added little sound effects like doors, whistles, etc on purpose

ya around 5 mins in to it u can hear whistles and then a couple secs later a door slame but u have to have really good headphones or the music very loud to hear it. when do they say hey dad?

There was another thread on this, and i said it was 'hey dad' but someone said it was 'are you ready?', that would make more sense but im not sure

I thought is was "Are you ready", I don't hear "hey dad" or slamming doors etc. I've heard whistling, but I thought that was just part of it, ya know Caleb being spontaneous?!!

they do the whistling live too, so it's intended i guess. my vote for what they say is "are you ready?" too =]

I personally think its "Hi Dad." Because usually, as a joke sometimes, a boy will call his girlfriend's dad, dad or pops or something like that. The reason why I do not think its the Producer saying "You ready?" is because I think its Nathan talking. He does the hidden voice in "Trani." He says "The tribe has spoken" around the last 5 seconds of the song. This is only my thoughts, they can be shot down, I could not care less.
