So I'm on my laptop, with the volume all the way up on iTunes and the computer with my headphones jammed into my ears. It's clearly to me, Caleb saying: HEY DAD!!!I was same as you... 78% sure that it was 'hey dad', but on listening a few more times, i propose 'k guys'.... whaddya think? |

Actually I think it sounds like 'Are you there?' but that doesn't make much sense unless they recorded it in the dark.

They obviously just do it to wind us up. It guarantees daily random threads of fans trying to work out what the feck they are saying and then fighting about. It's like Caleb saying, "hey lads what will we put in the song to piss them off today?": Hey Dad Are you Ready What's for dinner? Check out that supermodel Long Hair, Short Hair, Long Hair, Short Hair............Woohoo!!! I agree. I heard in My Third House laughing and kids. I feel like they are just trying to get us riled up! hahaha It's Jared. and he says "Hey Dad". Just my opinion I guess. In the Black Thumbnail chorus they say "No Guitar, Go Guitar" |

I THINK I HAVE SOLVED IT!!!!
It's "Hey Betty" for their mum (mom, for the yanks...).
I was listening to it in my head phones yesterday and it sounded clear as you like "Hey Bed'dy" I was like wtf? ohhh betty as in betty anne!

I was a million % positive it was Jared saying 'are you ready?' which would make sense but after reading this God forsaken thread all I ever hear now is 'hey Dad'!!!! Which makes no sense!! I'm still sure it's Jared though.

hmm. i've never reallly listened closely, and i don't really care what it says. but with all this 'are you ready' business, i think of Glamorous by Fergie. because someone says Are You Ready at the very beginning of that too  booo. |

I think it could be either 'Are you ready?' or 'hey dad'. I think it would be more likely to be 'Are you ready' since it's the beginning of the song, Caleb will be getting everyone ready to start. |
