The songs are kinda bass heavy live, rythm section heavy, eally, and they are amazing. Like someone else stated before, they are showcasing how they have grown. I have heard these songs live a couple of times, and these recordings don't do justice to how ridiculously good they really are. I like that most who post here respect, appreciate, and love KOL because they refuse to make the same record over and over. Hearing these recordings has made me more stoked than I was last month when I saw them. This new record is going to be incredible... I think everyone recognizes that these recordings (though they are infinitely better than those crappy youtube videos), or just rough outlines of the intensity of material in the songs. They are really getting more creative with the rythms, instrument work, and melodies. Its really astonishing how much breathe they have talent wise. Its easy to tell that their first two albums were just to get them off the ground. I can't stop listening to Arizona! Its fucking beautiful!

I figured out the program and found the files you need to decode the song files (its a very odd thing to share songs with, apparently the files dont loose sound quality when you convert them). The recording quality is awesome. Super clear when compared to the previous recording versions. Here they are in AIFF quicktime format. If anyone has a problem with this I can make them WAV files- download.yousendit.com/577179D87FDB237E download.yousendit.com/9194B2794868ECA9 (I think I liked his singing in the other recordings, even though it is crappier quality.)

You should be able to. I can play them through my itunes (using a mac). Do you have quicktime? They are AIFF files.

So the "On Call" and "Arizona" that you posted were the FLAC files? I got them playing through Windows Media Player. FOr some reason they will not upload in iTunes. I need a Mac.

Yeah i converted the flac files into a AIFF to play through quicktime. The FLAC program is just a conversion program for FLAC files.
Download quicktime. It might let you then play it through itunes, because its a quicktime file (or so i think), if it doesnt however you can probably convert it in quicktime to an mp3 and then play it to itunes.
(this is assuming you dont have it yet)

Ooohh Lord Baby Jesus.. saying the bass on Arizona is amazing would be a gross understatement.

I'd go so far as to say, "Best band ever".
Artistically, they are unparalleled today.

did you all get the flac thing sorted out? its really easy to convert them to mp3, you just need flac frontend. but ssh because the people that make them flacs dont like people converting them to mp3!
