Something completely unexpected like Mmmbop by Hanson I'm serious ( I think) I know it's bubble gum pop but it's gotta be one of the best songs of the 90s, it's ripe for a more rock cover. The originals got great drumming on it - I'd like to hear Nathan's take on it.(surely he can do better than a 10 year old ) And three/four part harmony might be cool. I bet Caleb's voice could really rip on it - wouldn't you want to hear what he could do with it?? I would!!!!!!!! The bass line's pretty good - but Jared can play meaner, and I've no idea what Matt would do but I would love it. Yeah, I've convinced myself - lets hear Mmmbop with some dirt and sex in it!!!!!!! EDIT : Don't worry, I'm not too serious, just curious in a tongue in cheek way and more than a little looking for a fight

id like them to cover my sharona by the knack! lol me too I'd love if they covered something fun like: I like you so much better when you're naked, by Ida Maria Oh the clever things I should say to you They got stuck somewhere Stuck between me and you Oh I'm nervous I don't know what to do Light a cigarrette I only smoke when I'm with you What the hell do I do this for? You're just another guy (girl) OK, you're kind of sexy But you're not really special But I won't mind If you take me home Come on, take me home I won't mind if you take off all your clothes Come on, take them off 'Cause I like you so much better when you're naked I like me so much better when you're naked I like you so much better when you're naked I like me so much better when you're naked Something by The Clash (Hateful, maybe), or even a Marvin Gaye song.

Would absolutely LOVE to hear them cover Dylan's All Along The Watchtower. Second choice would probably be Neil Young's Rockin In The Free World. Saw them do this w/ Pearl Jam last year, but would love to see them cover it on their own. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0W2X3Iurb9g

sorry was just going through the earlier pages and realized someone already said that one ... I think if a cover of Wake Up by Arcade Fire could be amazing

Ache - James Carrington
Hmm, yeah...dunno where that one came from, but yep, I think they'd do a really decent and mournfully miserable cover of this one.
