Yeah...I don't think slow night is about something jared had and caleb could've had. If you listen to the words, it somewhat of an insulting song. "I hate her face, but enjoy the company"...she's obviously not attractive, he just wants some fast ass and doesn't care where he gets it.
At the very end he says he doesn't "know where leading ladies come from". As though he never sees any or gets any. And the ones who are, are too good to tango with the poor poor boys...or something.
So bottom line, I think it's all about fast, easy ass. Something you want to put the pillow over when you wake up in the morning.

I'm not sure that's what Slow night is about cause in Rip and Burn magazine after an interview with them it lists the meanings of a few songs (slow night being one of them) and it says "Slow Night, So long: Caleb fancies Jared's bird, but Jared's bird thinks Caleb's a dick." It's in the press part of photos under 2005 if you wanna read it. But I'm not sure, it could be wrong.

My friend and i think "soft" may be about Kate Moss. "mutilating cat-like eyes" "bohemian dancing" I dunno. I don't pay much attentionto supermodels. Just a theory though.
