I just it would be quite interesting if I put a challenge to anybody to see if they could explain what every song on both albums means and what they are about...... Lets see!

i know holly roller novocaine is about a priest that abused his posistion when woman came to him for help
molly's chambers is...about a woman's vagina to put it nicely
and i can't be bothered going through the rest..but let's start of with that and see if i'm wrong
edit---
i have time for a few more red morning light-a prostitute wicker chair-alcoholism and erm..four kicks-a song about how they have been stereotyped as sleazy texans or whatnot...and it's a fuck you we're not the typical southern person..thing..aye..that's all from me

What the hell is a trani (i know that part) on ten? tin? I think King of the Rodeo is about Caleb himself I love the Holy Roller Novicain story, at first I thought it was about their dad and...shake is falling through your hand....what is that reffering to? I could really keep going, i love decifering lyrics! *off to listen*

about the "trani on a ten" line....
I could be completely wrong... but when I think of 'on a ten' I think of the ten as a train line.

I thought four kicks was about their father and his crew causing havoc when they where younger. Hoffman is a friend that was in that crew.

yeah, you're right... they've said a bunch of times that it's about their dad. but in the german interview jared also said that part of the way they feel about four kicks is that they're kind of laying all of their southern heritage on the line to satisfy everyone who is so transfixed by the story of how they were raised. I think they accomplish both.

I think it's "a trani on tin" which as far as I know is a term for a type of drugs. I'm sure it was in CSI Miami one time, Horatio's brother was called the "tin man" by some of the cops/addicts that knew about his drug use. sorry, so random! Think it might be a term for coke.

I searched for "tin" at urbandictionary.com (if you guys don't know that site, it's really helpful) and apparently tin can mean a type of smokeless tobacco.... that's probably it.

I love that line.

Straying back to the original topic I think slow night so long is about how caleb had a thing for jareds girlfriend; "she's 17 but I done went and plum forgot it" Ya know, jareds younger than caleb. I forget where I heard it but I think it's right. But CSI does rock, I'm partial to Vegas.
