I don't agree at all about kol being too clean and too nice... I think that's kind of a knee-jerk reaction to the image change, which I don't think has anything to do with cleanliness. so what, they wear more expensive clothes...it's cause they're at a time in their life when they can. and it's something they didn't have when they were growing up.
I don't see how oasis and kings of leon can be compared... kings of leon may just be fu*kin good nashville rock, but in my opinion, it's the best of anything out there. maybe I'm missing the boat on the whole oasis thing...but I just don't get it. it's catchy, it's good, I agree on that. but to me, there's nothing about it that makes it sound any different from any of the other catchy stuff out there.

Whats the story mourning glory (or something) was a really big deal record... Yeah, that is all I know.

the only Oasis album i bought was their first. as far as im concerned, theyve been trying to match it and falling far short ever since. theyve got nothing to say we havent all heard before. If you've only got 1 album how can you judge the rest?? The last 3 albums are under rated! Oasis introduced me to music... truly the best of the 90's! The last few years have been all about KOL "pure rock 'n' rool", musically prob the better band, but for me OASIS reign supreme. The new album 'll be mega, granted lyla's got it's problems, but songs like Muckey fingers and meaning of soul, are like nothing before & will but oasis back on top. TRUST ME!!

Here you've obviously got good musical taste if your a Leon fan & i respect your opinion. I just think after "What' s the Story?" it was no longer trendy to like oasis and so the pop opinion is every album since is shit! Any New different sounding album's (be here now) is "Not Oasis and SHIT" Any old sounding albums (Hindu Times/SOTSOG) and they say it's same old SHIT! Fucked whatever they do! Give the New album a chance, it really is unlike anything else they've done before. which will suit you nicely by sounds of it.

I'm not sure that I like Oasis. I think the only song I've heard was too mellow, but I could be wrong. Never really listened to anything else, nor wanted to.

Yeah I never really heard of them until I was watching some show, I can't quite remember which. My best friend is in love with them.
