Considering there are a lot of Brits (okay, mostly all Brits) on this website, who do you guys prefer: Oasis or the Kings?
I love the Kings but I would have to go with Oasis because they have been around the block.
I wonder if the new cd is any good though...anyone got it yet?

i never got the whole oasis thing. and lyla just sounds like everything else they've done to me. so definetly KOL for me

kol is my favorite. oasis were my favorite band but the kings surpassed them when i realized how brilliant ASH was. but yeah they are 1 and 2 in my book.

being a brit i would have to go with .........................................the kings  there sound really stands out and oasis have some really good songs but they have never held my interest |

Kings are way better . . . I do like Oasis, but the Kings have an more unique and appealing sound to me.

the only Oasis album i bought was their first.
as far as im concerned, theyve been trying to match it and falling far short ever since.
theyve got nothing to say we havent all heard before.
theyre the Victoria Beckham of the Brit Bands, they just dont know when to quit, and i agree that their new song sounds like all the others. they are now completely unoriginal.
whereas KOL, they give it to you straight.

I have never understood the Oasis thing. to me, they REALLY suck. same ol' tired music. over and over, that incessant droning, whining vocal. ugh!
i just saw them tonight on jonathan ross and i can't believe it, another droney, whiney wankfest. boring boring... boooo! get off!
how cany u even speak the name of the kings in the same breath as the Gallagher bores...zzzzzzzzz
