all i hear is the guitar, amybe im confusing guitar sound with piano? i dont know, all i hear in this song is guitar, which i like, but thanks anyway seeds, i just wanted to make sure if Jared did play the piano in it

ok i found the piano part in trani. its like when they are rocking out and caleb is screaming and the piano is really fast and you can kinda hear it. it matches the "shrilliness" in caleb's voice. its around 4:30 in the song.

makes complete sense. in fact i remember those exact sort of people and scenes from when i was a little kid and there was a really shity losers bar near my school - he may as well have been describing it. it was called the Dew Drop Inn.
caleb's voice even sounds like some of those creepy old guys who used to holler at us when we walked back home from school. .....very descriptive. Caleb is excellent really.

i was just listening watching TRANI
and that bit were he starts flipping out he says
"cops on the call, weeding out those freaks, face in the dirt and spitting out his teeth"
(i like that alot.)
i could never make that out before but it's really clear on this performance.
everyone must have a bar/ venue or someplace in their home town that fits the descriptions in this song. not necessarily a transvestite hang out. mine was The Dew Drop Inn on 62nd street, anyone else?

I've always heard 'withnall'....although, I don't really know what that means. Re: KOTR do you know the film "Withnail & I" it's incredibly funny. Richard E. Grant is in it and Paul McGann. ...do you know these actors in the US? It really is a SUPERB film -it's about 2 weird incredibly funny characters at the end of an era (60's). they go to the country for a weekend break. |
