i wish i could pack my bags and literally move into this thread just so i can't hear or read anybody saying/writing things about the new album on the internet  it kills me that so many people on lastfm already scrobbled the whole new album and they're already discussing it (well some people only say rude things but that's their way to discuss i guess...). i'm so keen on listening to the new stuff  |

I feel like a virgin waiting for my wedding night!! Haha! Brilliant  Definitely feel like i should be planning some kind of ceremony for this! Knowing me it will probably involve pizza and wine  Have to work that day now so will go and buy it hopefully while im on a break then sit on the bus home with it in my hot little hands, daring myself not to open it and look at the sleeve till I get home. Oooh, anticipation! Love it. |

In a shocking display of weakness I went on You Tube last night to listen to The End, but it was nowhere to be seen! Haha serves me right really. I also realised then that I'd put in my last post that it was 3 weeks to go, when it's actually 2. Doh. |

It's sooo fluffaaayyyyyy! You know, I've been thinking... It's really funny to watch the CAS interviews without knowing what they talk about! It makes the whole "Waiting for the CD" much more fun! I imagine this is how it feels like to saving yourself for marriage! |

Yeah, im liking the CAS vids too...was just watching todays and wondering if they made a conscious decision to sit down and go through all the old material they'd written that didn't make it onto various records?
Seeing as how they said they wanted CAS to relate to all their previous albums and how a lot of the songs seem to be written originally at different times it might have made sense to start in that way and rewrite/add new songs as needed?

I found that surprising as well. Because it would seem, that there are a number of songs written years ago.
One one hand it makes me wonder if they were just too lazy to write new material/ (say it isnt so!)
Or really felt that these songs compliment each other in some way.

I'm considering taking CAS day off...I've booked days off for movie opening days...everyone at work already knows I'm crazy.

I feel like this is going to be a real mish-mash of quite different songs and I think I like that idea. Beats the hell out of a CD where every track sounds the same. Don't know how ive managed not to listen to any more of the downloads so far but I keep wanting to send them to various people to tempt them too (yes, I am evil ) was even thinking about making my mum listen to the whole album and tell me what she thought! WTF, hehe |

So you guys are still watching the CAS interviews? I want to be SO surprised at each song that I'm not even watching them until the album because I don't want to hear the snippets in the background!
