I'm officially on disability, but I do voluntary work to keep myself busy. One of them is (kind of) teaching English to an older man; he's 83 and I've known him for 4 years now, in which I've kinda adopted him as my grandpa. He's learning very slowly, so teaching is really too big a word for it, but we're having fun together and he does pick up the language. My other job hasn't really started off properly yet, but I've been asked to DJ at the local radio station. I guess if that goes well, I could actually do that as a paid job too in a year or two.

I'm currently unemployed, used to work for a supermarket but the hours were shit and as I am also a University student, I don't feel I have enough time to depress myself in a supermarket at weekend's lol I study Music Technology, I have my BSc in that but I am now starting my fourth year to obtain honours. Would love to work in the Music Industry in some capacity but we'll see. My only definite plan for post-Uni next year is to move to Australia on a working visa with my girlfriend and spend a year or two down under

(Dusty, I love your sig.! ) Everyone has such cool jobs! I worked in a shop for 4 years, then I worked in a restaurant for 3 months as a waitress. Then I went to Uni to study Psychology but I hated it. I was just not supposed to be a fresher. I'm now a Modern Apprentice for my local council. Amazing, huh? My dream job (that I will hopefully get one day) is to be a flight attendant

I start my new job on Monday I'm going to be appointing people to a Children's Panel. I'm not very good at explaining things but I found a good description of it... "The Children's Panel hold hearings in order to consider and make decisions on the welfare of a child. The panel is made up of a group of unpaid, trained volunteers who come from a wide range of backgrounds. There is a panel for each local area. A children's hearing is made up of three panel members (at least one of which must be male or female). The hearing decides whether compulsory measures of supervision are needed for the child and, if so, what they should be. All panel members are trained to communicate with children and their families. Members of the public over 18 can apply to become panel members during the annual recruitment campaign in September."
