This is kind of gross, but on my upper right eyelid, I have a bump that looks like a zit, but it's not, it's called a calcium deposit - how do I get rid of it??? I read that it will go away on its own but it's been a month!

I thought of that (getting it removed) but I'm not sure if I want a knife near my eyeball! And it's so tiny, you can't see it with my eyes open. It's just bugging me!

Does it hurt? Maybe you could just give your doctor a call and ask him how long it usually takes, you might need to give it a couple more weeks.

Nope it doesn't hurt. I'll just keep waiting for it to disappear.

It's not a stye, it's just the tiniest little white bump in the middle of my upper eyelid. I've read about these calcium deposits on the internet and all the info says it should just go away. Patiently waiting...
If someone has the answer to this, I will love them forever: Why do blow dryers exist? They are such a pain in the ass. But if I don't use one, my hair is ICK.

^My brother has a few calcium deposites on his eyelids too, he's had them for a couple years now, like you said you just have to wait patiently until they go away.

Are you sure it's not something called a stye? Or is that the same thing? xD My doctor told me to use warm compresses and that seems to help.

so i talked to my mom today... she said if it's small you might be able to scrape it off if not it will either go away on it's on or can be removed by the doctor. i wouldn't want to scrape it off... i'm too paranoid about eye stuff! my luck i'd do something that would cause me to go blind!

Ah thank you Carrie and Carrie's mom. I have picked at it, but it doesn't want to come off. I'm paranoid about eye stuff too, I'd probably slice my eyelid open if I tried to scrape it off!

Nicole i'm sorry but i have no ideas for you or advice at all. I've never had anything like it. Maybe wait another week or so and then if it hasn't gone go and ask your doctor about it. I'm loving all this grungy, vampire/ghost style make-up. I love MAC's paint pots for that grunge style and it goes all creased and stuff but it still looks cool! I have to Blackground one on now.

For the past 2-3 months, my scalp has been really dry! I started using a dry scalp shampoo and conditioner, but I can taste the chemicals in my mouth when I rinse. ewww.
I prefer more natural products - I read that tea tree oil shampoos might be an option - anyone?

Have you tried asking your hairdresser? Sadly enough, the more expensive it is - the better it is, I think. I absolutely adore Lee Stafford's products but I don't know if he has a good shampoo for your exact problem though...

Thanks Molly - I have asked him and he said to use a dandruff shampoo like Head and Shoulders which is what I bought. It's just sooooooo chemically. I think I'll go to Whole Foods and ask my friend in the Whole Body cosmetics section what she recommends.

Sounds like a good idea. Maybe you could try olive oil btw..? It works miracles on dry skin and hair, and it's 100 & natural - so why not!

Well what's weird is I have oily hair but a dry scalp. I'd be afraid that the olive oil might weigh my hair down. Perhaps I could apply it at night so it would wash out in the am? I'd have to change pillow cases quite a bit...
