Why is there no thread for this!? It's on right now. So far they lost the best pop/rock group, but there is still hope for Best Alternative Rock Artist and Artist of the Year!
Is anyone else watching? Does anyone know if the guys are in the audience?

I dont think they re in the audience. They werent shown when they were nominated for Best Rock Group.
THANK G-d they lost! They were in the same category as Nickelback! vom!

Hahaha I know!! I just find it weird that they are in the same category as such awful bands...I´m glad they skipped it, I would have died if they were in the audience, they are better than that! or at least I like to think they are  |

I noticed they didnt show any of the nominees while they were announcing them. I also think they're too good to be involved with this. It's a shame there are only 2 rock bands performing out of like 20!

Ugh, i cant watch any awards, unless KOL are there. All these bizarre categories, where completely different bands are all lumped together. Besides, he finale of The Next Iron Chef is way more interesting! Maybe them not winning is an indicator of teenyboppers' short memory and attention span. |

^this is why I never watch award shows anymore, unless a band I love is actually going to be there. Most of these award shows are total bullshit anyways...even the grammys. I admit that I absolutely love SOF but the fact that KOL won their first grammy for that song is so laughable. It really never is about good music when it comes to these shows anyway.

I agree with everything you all said. And I didn't watch Adam Lambert, I shut my tv off right away after you know who won.  I couldn't stand watching him on American Idol either, I only watched for Kris Allen. |
