I am trying to find a good quality live version of Cold Desert that DOESNT have a speech by Caleb in it, someone screaming 2 inches away from the camera, parts of the song missing, or where the bass drum sounds like a tin can. I'm thinking along the lines of the quality of the live songs on the OBTN deluxe cd. I have listened to about 20 versions on youtube but they all sound horrible or have some flaw in them that totally ruins the whole thing. If anyone has one and would be willing to post a link to it or send it to me, I'll give you karma and love you forever!!  |

The only way you will get a version that has good quality sounding instruments/vocals is from a show that was produced and made for TV or made for DVD. Basically because when shows are for TV or DVD, all the instruments are hooked up and recorded separately and then manually adjusted by the sound producer for volume/bass levels. Thats why someone with a camera fone or video cam who post vids result in horrible sounding instruments like the tinny bass drum for example. So your looking for a show produced for TV/DVD that had Cold Desert in the set list, hope this helps eliminate certain vids and narrows the search down for you  |

I guess so yeah. I did find 2 ok versions on YouTube so until I find something professional I guess those will do!

oh thanks Olga! Yeah this one sounds good too!! I had already gotten some from YouTube but i wanna hear more to see if this is better than the ones I got LOL I'm so damn picky!
