Missed My Moment

Hey guys, my name is Rex. In my town I am basically the biggest KoL fan (I live in northwest Louisiana) and I have seen the guys 8 times already. Twice a year since 2005. Well six or seven months ago (before ACL line-up was announced) I had a feeling that KoL would close out either Friday or Saturday nite and I knew if Pearl Jam were in pissing distance of KoL, Vedder would join them. THAT ALL CAME TRUE Friday nite. Thursday around midnite going into Friday, I was hospitalized with an irregular heart-beat. I was born with heart problems (I have had 3 heart surgeries before the age of 4). Once I reached the ER my heart was racing 248 beats a minute (my personal best happened last Friday while waiting for The Avett Brothers to play, it was 258). I had to sell my ACL ticket and miss out on MY MOMENT because of my heart, I stayed in the hospital for 40 hours, missing all of ACL because my mom had to drive from Louisiana to Austin to pick me up. My cardiologist advised me not to attend any concerts until he is able to fix what is wrong. Which is wise because I do not want to be on the floor surrounded by 20,000 fans and have another episode. I just now sold my Dallas KoL floor tickets for their Oct. 7th show, that would have been my 10th show. I cried watching a youtube video of Eddie singing with KoL because I knew I missed my moment. So that just means I need to build a new moment for myself. My new moment has to top seeing KoL with Vedder, which is hard to do. I think I have a new moment but I am not sure how to go about it. Maybe someone out there can help me. I want to know how you are able to attend an album release party. With all the money I am getting from selling the tickets (I sell for face value) I want to buy a ticket to the release party for their fifth album. Any clues. Thanks. You almost always need to have a connection or know someone in order to get into things like that. Money won't do you much good I don't think

Hey thanks guys for your help and well wishes. I will most likely have a surgery before the year is out. I did post the same message on KoL's official forum (FYI- I find that HA breaks news about KoL before their site does. Odd) I got the same answers "Luck, fanclub, not happening, money will not help." I did e-mail some email posted at the bottom of the Fan Club page thinking that might help. It has yet gone through to the person. One of my good friends is in the NFL and he shares the same agency as Kings so I think that will be my next step. Thank you once again. I will keep you posted on my health if you would like.
