I'd rather not hear 17 live and have any other songs from the first 3 albums, but that's my opinion. I'm with you on that one. But 17 would be better than bloody Notion.. and Sex/Somebody (obviously). |

I find it strange that '17' never became one of those songs that are 'always played' or perhaps a song that never caught on but deserved to more so than other ones. The melody stays in your head, its upbeat, the bells, short-ish and the lyrics ain't bad. It definitely deserves to be played at the odd gig or sometime!! I'm not a massive 17 fan. It's one of the OBTN songs that makes OBTN seem like it was a rushed album.
Notion isn't a KOL classic but is one of the best on OBTN.
Closer, Be Somebody and possibly Notion are the only OBTN songs I want KOL to play in future. Maybe Cold Desert on occasions.
I'd be happy for SOF, Revelry and I Want You to pale into insignificance.

well i think they should play it atleast once and record it professionally haha i just wanna have it on my ipod and see it when i please haha that would be sweet....thats the only song they dont play from obtn which is werid cause i really dont think its that bad....

They could play it at least once just to say ‘look we’ve played it live!’. Maybe they’d change it into something more rocking too? Who knows?
Or they could schedule a ‘Christmas with Kings of Leon’ show – I’m sure it would go down a treat then with the bells and all!!!
