Tomorrow (or the next day for the US) marks a year since Only By The Night was released. Say what you will about the quality/exposure/fans of said album, there's no doubt it's been a hell of a ride. They have worked their non-existent sexy asses off, and lets face it they could have just sat at home, reaped the download royalties and spent it all on cocaine and fancy cooking gear, but they haven't. I guess I just wanted to say I appreciate the effort. And I hope there are many more years to come. Cheers boys!  |

Here, here. Say what you like about OBTN and the two mega hits but the boys have worked their proverbial socks off and I, for one, appreciated it.
Since the release of OBTN I've seen them eight times, will see them for the last time this year next month in Nashville and can honestly say I enjoyed every moment. So well done guys and thanks x

I know most/all won't agree with this statement but I don't think KOL are as good as they were 2 years ago.
Their live performances sound decent but they don't sound as brilliant as they were in 2006/7.

^^^ You're fully entitled to your opinion but this is hardly the thread for it.
For the record I think they sound better. They actual sound might have changed but live performance wise they are awesome at the moment.
Anyway, moving on .....

I loved OBTN, not my favorite, but I still loved it and I can't wait to hear what they have in store for us on the next album.
Like Caleb has said, they worked their asses off to get to this point and I couldn't be happier for them. It's about damn time they started getting the love they deserve here in the States!

^^^ I know. That year has gone by so fast. It feels like yesterday that I got my copy of OBTN but in some ways it feels like forever ago too. Wierd.
