OK, I give up on this! No Caleb next week and the week after is a re-run  I'm beginning to think this Iron Chef pic of Caleb was just photoshopped or something  |

Well I remember Nathan was talking about it, saying how they (Nathan and Caleb). both loved the show and that they let caleb do it because if it had been for him (nathan) he would have been drunk before the end of the meal.

Just found this--didnt realise that the news originally came out on Aug 28th!!! It's been forever. And it did say "fall appearance".
"Frontman Caleb Followill, meanwhile, is preparing for a fall appearance as a guest judge on the Food Network series "Iron Chef." "
So maybe they scrapped it for some reason, or they'll finish the season with it. But i have no idea when the season ends.
The whole thing is kind of weird at this point.

I heard somewhere that Rooster made an appearance and the may not air the episode?!?!
Don't know where I heard it or how true it is, but I would pay to see it.

^I don't think that's the reason why they haven't aired it. I know Rooster makes appearances on stage, and when he's drinking too much around his friends and family, but not on Iron Chef....I just can't imagine him doing something that stupid.

I think it was just us musing jokingly as to why the episode hasnt aired.
Caleb is quite capable of functioning without making an ass out of himself. So as amusing as it would be, I dont think anything controversial happened on IC.

i just asked nate (via twitter) again about it. i won't hold my breath for a response but crazier things have happened.
ps. nik something about your signature and the fleet foxes song that was playing on my comp just made me get all emotional, how all grown up the guys have gotten, how we've watched 'em grow up.
ugh cheesy, anyway, damn you iron chef.

I emailed Food Network about this weeks ago, and today they finally emailed me back.
"Hello and thank you for your email. Please accept our sincere apology for the delay in getting back to you with this response.
We're sorry, but we don't have an air date for the episode at this time. According to our programming department, it more than likely won't premiere until 3rd or 4th Quarter '10.

Just thought I'd let you all know. That's pretty far away, but at least they plan on airing it someday I guess.

WOW, it's like a year after they shot it.
Wonder why the major delay. Or is it always like that? Hmmmmmm. Well, i hope that they do show it, one of these months.
