All we know is that it's in November that he is appearing. The new season of Iron Chef begins on Oct 4th. So basically, any time after that. It's on Sundays, a 8pm Central, I believe.

I think I might purposely watch Iron Chef because of this.

What is this programme like? I'm having this mental image of Caleb turning up on Ready, Steady, Cook or Britain's Best Dish.

I think it is more like the "The British Menu" programme in the UK - where the top chefs are in competition

I've seen clips of Iron Chef on youtube. Could it be Caleb is in danger of ruining their reputation as a band that fucking wails? (That's a paraphrased quote form an interview where Caleb expressed reservations about 'moms' at his concerts.) Are you a celebrity, Caleb? Or are you a singer/writer in a rock band?
Rock and roll!

I agree with this! I've never seen / probably never will see the actual show, but the idea him judging seems, I dunno, pretentious? Or a bit wierd, at any rate (before people attack me, I don't mean Caleb himself being pretentious, more the whole idea of it) Then again, to play devil's advocate with my own post, who to say that rock and roll and cooking don't go together? Feminism's changing, as they say Besides, ladies love a man who can cook

For those who've never actually seen the show, IC often has odd judges--in addition to people who have connection to food/culinary world, they like to invite an odd duck such as an athlete, an actor, a comedian, and yes, there have been other singers and even rappers who served as judges. It's all done in good fun and there is nothing "scientific' about the judging. It's basically "yeh, the sauce is good and I like the flavour of the coconut"--type of judgment. I'd rather have Caleb judge the "rock-n-roll' cooking show, as IC is viewed, than give golf tips! (my opinion, but golf just isnt very ROCK!) But I think that it's interesting to see them branch out and share their other hobbies with their fans. Frankly, I'd rather hear them talk about cars, cooking, even even golf, than answer one more question about "How was it growing up on the road with your preacher father?"

There is nothing with it not to judge in a food show when you like good food and cooking as Caleb do! And of course cooking men are always sexy and appreciative in all ways!
