I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I know there are heaps of threads about lyrics, that usually can be answered in a post or two. So, post here if you want to know something lyrical! Hopefully it'll save clutter and give people a place to look if they want to find something out too So I'll get the ball rolling: In 'I Want You', does anyone else hear "go press your skirt word is there's a new girl in town"? I know the booklet says shirt, which would make much more sense [anyone else getting mental pics of Caleb in a freshly ironed skirt? No?] but I definitely don't hear it...

Until reading this, I had no idea that the correct word was shirt. I've always thought it was skirt. I can see now that that makes a whole lot more sense but I still can't hear it. In Velvet Snow, I always hear whore at the end of each line in the first few verses. "Walking like you're stuck in Velvet Snow... whore."

Thanks guys, I guess it's a bit of a mystery then! In Velvet Snow, I always hear whore at the end of each line in the first few verses. "Walking like you're stuck in Velvet Snow... whore." Bahaha have some karma for making me laugh... I think I'll sing that from now on!

I think it is 'skirt' and he's saying to the girl 'go press your skirt' as in there's a new girl in town and you have to compete with her for all the male attention, so she better look her best?! Maybe im wrong - its hard to tell what he means by a lot of things

I hate when the booklets aren't what they say, but I never know with OBTN because it hurts my eyes to read them! Seriously, whoever thought of using white ink on white paper deserves to be shut in a room with only a Jonas Brothers album to listen to...

Yea, exactly what I've always thought, 'Skirt', it's like go dress up nice to fight off the male attention!
In Head To Toe, I always thought it was 'he's sleepin' and a-kissin' her mouth'

I hear "reaching". But then again I also hear "mouse" not "mouth", so who am I to talk...

And just to repeat what people have been saying, I hear "skirt" as well.

So the lyrics are easy to read. I don't know if it was a printing error or if the booklets here in Brazil were meant to be this way. p.s.: sorry, my english is terrible.
