Am currently suffering from ‘Followithdrawals’ which come with the following symptoms: Feeling of jumpiness or nervousness Feeling of shakiness Anxiety, irritability or easily excited Emotional volatility/ rapid emotional changes Depression Fatigue Difficulty with thinking clearly Yep, I have the same symptoms!! Seriously, the train ride home last night was unbearably sad! After being surrounded by KOL lovers all weekend and sharing awesome stories about anything and everything (in a high-class luxurious hotel no less), it was hard to go back to the real world. This was my 13th time seeing them. Lucky number 13 and honestly the best ever!! I just feel a beaming sense of pride knowing that our boys are accomplishing so much. I really thought I'd be more bitter about the whole "sex somebody" popularity but I can't be bitter at something I love so much. I think a big part has to do with the fact that I've met so many amazingly wonderful people through KOL that are now in my life forever. I won't say any names but you know who you are *Sigh* I'm all sentimental now. And as I was saying on twitter, it really feels like the end of my crazy adventures, at least for a little while. It's been an awesome run but I need to really get serious about saving some money- NOT just for KOL related trips! Geez, I seriously feel so incredibly nostalgic for that night when Andie, Stacy and I boarded a Greyhound bus and went to see them at the Download Festival in Mountain View. And people would ask us why we were making such a trip and we'd say "To see Kings of Leon" which was unquestionably folllowed by "Who?" *Sigh* How is it possible to feel so much love for a freaking band? I guess if I knew the answer to that, I might not be here right now huh? It's the unexplainable aspect of it that keeps me coming back. Ok, I'm done with the existential, emotional crap. Done love you all so very much I'm so glad to hear you guys say all that stuff - if not for you and this website I might think I was losing my grip...falling for a band and their music like this! When I flew to NYC just to see them at RCMH my friends and co-workers said I was crazy...when I drove 800+ miles through the desert to see them in Az. they said I was nuts...but you guys understand and better yet, share the same feelings! So it is now much more than a band...it's about all of us sharing something we love and bonding in the process! End of my existential rap...

Can I butt in and totally agree? Everyone I know also thinks I'm crazy, they don't understand it at all...and I can only tell them that I love KOL and that's that. And without this site, and other KOL fans, I would probably feel really alone...I too have met some great people through this band. Despite putting myself in debt and spending loads of money to travel, buy tix, etc. it's all totally worth it because my life would probably feel a lot emptier without the Kings and the fan-family I'm always feeling things like this and never get to express them so screw it! I'm freaking emotional and I don't care

So I gave Christina at itainthemingway.com the exclusive on my review and videos. The Vegas show review just went up yesterday or the day before I think so I guess mine will be up soon. It was REALLY REALLY long and I still left a few things out come to think of it. I'm very excited about the videos I mainly recorded the speeches because I was so close and security was being so uptight about video recordring. can't wait for yall to see it all though!

Does any have the setlist for this show? I only have the encore memorized (Slow Night So Long, Knocked Up, Manhattan, Black Thumbnail) the rest is in random order in my mind...I need the exact order ...now that I've seen some of the many videos from this show up on YouTube, and the more I think about it the more I realize how stunningly brilliant they really were that night!

Not sure if the order is right, but here goes:
Be Somebody Taper Jean Girl Molly's Chambers Red Morning Light Closer My Party Revelry Sex on Fire The Bucket Four Kicks Crawl Notion Fans On Call Charmer Cold Desert Use Somebody
Encore: Slow Night, So Long Knocked Up Manhattan Black Thumbnail
Did my ears deceive me or were they jamming on something new before they started 'Black Thumbnail'? I thought for a minute that they were going to start playing the new devil song...would have been nice to have heard that one live.

so i'm slowly getting my video of the show uploaded, but here is a link to cold desert: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZrFrBmduJwand since i basically recorded non stop until my battery died, i got all of caleb's speech. there were a few more (he has been way chatty on stage lately!), but i think this one, and the one before sex on fire, were my two favorites. this one is so cute because of his little fist to chest bump when he says 'how proud you've made this boy from tennessee feel'. anyways. sorry the video quality isn't the greatest. i was using my little digital camera. i hope you can at least get a fraction of what it was like to be there on saturday!

In case you didn't venture over to itainthemingway.com to read my review here's my vids I'm quite proud of despite the shots not being the best (one drawback to being at the barrier security is a beast)

Even though it sounds so cliche, this was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. The energy was so amazing and no to mention that Be Somebody was the best song to start with. Although, I would've loved to have been packed together like sardines and sweating even more, haha. All the concerts that I've been to have never been in huge arenas, so it was all new for me. And this being my first KOL concert, as well. I didn't take any good pictures, or videos. I wanted to enjoy the night. I saw Amanda Bynes and had a total "OMG" moment but that "OMG" moment was even bigger when I saw Jessie, haaaah.
