Hi everyone, this is my first post I'm a relatively new KOL fan (since Jan.) and am very sad that I have been going about my life since the early 00s oblivious to these guys' existence. My loss! I have been making up for lost time, though, and after having worn out OBTN, I started at the beginning and listened to each album and didn't move on to the next until I knew it inside and out. Anyway, I wanted to post to find out if anyone has an explanation as to why Use Somebody is suddenly #2 on iTunes? I know it has been getting some airplay on Philly Q102 which really surprised me since I don't think I have ever heard a song with a guitar on that station before. I really like Use Somebody and Caleb sounds amazing (of course) but I hope it doesn't get so overplayed that it loses its meaning. I'm sure they'll play it on the Today Show next week. I'm also curious if they'll play Sex on Fire since isn't 8:30 a.m. a little early for Sex on Fire?

More people have downloaded I Gotta Feeling than Use Somebody. Simple as that. That's what the iTunes chart is, the top ten most downloaded songs. I've heard Sex On Fire that early, when it was played all the time. It was even played at a funfair I went to the other day. The place was filled with kids and that song was blaring through the speakers. It was a chart topper, everyone knows the song, so nobody has a problem with it. They'll probably play Notion on the Today Show.

I realized that iTunes has been heavily promoting their "Digital 45s" including the Use Somebody digital 45, so maybe that is what really gave it a boost. I hope they do play Notion on the Today Show!
