^I love that too! and also... I'm makin' silly faces and it's tasting bittersweet Gonna run baby run like a stream down a mountainside You laugh at nothing in the pouring rain, and try to tell yourself you're not insane, you fool, I hate you sometimes I wanna say, here's to me, gon' change the world And the 'mad as hell give up' bit in day old blues, because of the way he sings it... Wow, that's quite a lot... And thats my revised list! Can "everything they've ever written and ever will write" be an option?

Oh yes, " Gonna run baby run like a stream down a mountainside" this is so beautiful!! I love that one too. Nicole, I didn't know that about 17, but it sounds about right haha. Does anyone know what the 'salty leave' bit in Milk is meant to be about/mean?

I think its about crying, and being embarrassed about it? (salty tears) But idk, that song has so many possible meanings

Oooh, good one. What are these meanings?

To me there are lots of double meanings in their songs, Caleb has said in interviews that he likes words that sound the same but have different meanings when you spell them differently(homophones? synonyms? I can never remember). Like the "wine and whine and wound up" bit in 17... With Milk, its more that so much of it could be metaphoric or literal. Like is the girl lactose intolerant, or is is "problems with drinking milk" a metaphor for her not wanting to do certain 'deeds'...? And maybe its just my hearing, but "kill me" also sounds a lot like "cure me", the same way that "kills me" in taper jean girl sounds like "kiss me". Thats why I love Aha!

ALL OF THESE!!!! Pretty much the whole of Day Old Blues- what a beautiful song!! And True Love Way - every line melts my heart Also 'Hand over your heart lets go home' I just think Caleb is such a beautiful poet - he has a really special way of writing that gets across what he's trying to say but also leaves a lot of room for you to take your own meaning from it and apply it to your own life.

I love the Joe's Head chorus, I just think it's funny. And
"You got your cozy little corners, all night you're jammin' on your feet" from Red mornight light, just because it's clever and
"This party's overrated But there ain't shit else to do She's lovin on a boy from the city I'll be lovin' him under my shoe" and
"Don't you let those tears quench the thirsty ground" from Fans
I mean, of course the ground is thirsty! That's why it's raining. Well not really. But it's really good.

The whole Wicker Chair lyrics, it's so beautiful, and whenever I listen to it I think that Caleb is singing about himself...

Happy Alone is pretty fantastic.
"All wrapped up in being 19, chasin' stars that are falling." Seriously brilliant!
