What do you mean by the 'I just want to have friends' remarks did he say that - in what context? I bet their girlfriends want some downtime to.

I'd prefer to see them when they are at their best and I do think they'd be better after a rest. I don't think they've decided to go at it until they burn out I think they just didn't expect the massive, massive success of OBTN and that forced them in to the massive arena tour. I dont disagree that they are better after a rest and it seems that they have recently done amazing really long shows on 1st couple of dates of tours and perhaps they dont want to go on til they burn out but they have said numerous times that they want to keep going as hard and fast as they can cause they dont know when its all going to end!

If they are coming to Dublin I AM DEFINITELY GOING! There's many pros and cons for a 2009 European Tour: Pros:- I GET TO SEE KOL!!!!!!!!!!!
- Other people get to see KOL (again, maybe)
- Gives them a chance to show off a new mystery song, like Lucyfur
- More money for them! Though that's not important
- Matt did say that if he stopped working for too long, he'd end up being 300 pounds and never leaving the house!
- If they're still touring, they won't lose their magic (They'll be in a familiar routine, I mean)
Cons:- They're exhausted enough as it is (Those tour statistics, OH MY GOD!!!)
- Nathan and Jessie have to wait longer to get married, and also, to my dismay, Jared and Alisa
- Some of the SOF fans may not yet have been ex
terminatedtinguished
- Jared hates touring more than anything else in the world
- They need time with their gfs and family at home, they probably haven't seen them properly in a long time
- I'm being selfish here, but we have to wait longer for a new album
EDIT: I just don't understand why everyone (I mean the tshirts, not you!) thinks that Oxegen is in Dublin. IT'S IN FUCKING KILDARE!! Seriously, they would notice how long the journey is from the airport to Punchestown? I sound like such a bitch now but it really annoys me!

The t shirts that have the Dub/Edinburgh dates on are also the same ones that have the same dates with this summer's European tour on them so I'm pretty sure they're just T in the Bag and Oxegen?

if they do tour i guess its what happens,
when a bad gets big, and like really big, they kinda have to stay in the lime light for as long as possible, with singles, tours and albums....just to keep everyones attention on them, until they can become established as like a mjor band that can take long breaks and not be forgotten..
i think thats where they are now...they are huge, but if they took a long break i think newer fans would just loose attention for them...do you know what i mean.
i guess a tour maybe would just be something to do with the record label etc.
