At T In The Park, the tee stall at the main stage was selling a few KOL tee's all weekend, they were all ones from previous tours, proper ones, not fakes but there was one that was new. On the back of it was a list of European gigs and it said 2009 on it. One of the gigs was definitely Edinburgh and they haven't played Edinburgh this year so this makes me think that something is due to be announced... Dublin was on the list too by the way

Dublin on the list makes me smile but this news also makes me sad. Wish they'd take a break. They looked dreadfully tired on Saturday night

I saw that tshirt too - I think the "Dublin" date was actually Oxegen ;-)

I think the Dublin date was Oxegen too. Would the Edinburgh one be T in the park?

Well I'm going to be selfish and say I want a proper UK tour in the winter. It's tradition for them to do that now isn't it?
Although it might be nice for them to get another album out to rid us of the SoF fans before more gigs, so we can have better crowds (hopefully).

Ooh, I hope Edinburgh wasn't T in the Park. that'd be cool. They're having a break just now are they not? And then a break in between American and European ones. hah, I'm being selfish too ^

we're actually talking about a REAL break they should stay home for 6 months or so...free their heads, experiment on new stuff, record a new album, enjoy their lives and come back in summer 2010 with a great new album and rested bodies. thats what i want.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Obviously if they do Irish dates I'll be going but I'd much rather see them feck off for 6 months to a year.

Summer 2010 for a new album isn't a proper break, though....Autumn 2010 would give 'em a rest.

The more break the better but in KOL terms from Autumn 2009 to Summer 2010 is a good break.

I know, it's crazy. Recording a new album doesn't count as "having a break" for most bands. Silly Kings (I love 'em for it )

I cant see them taking a proper break. They are really stirring it up in America now, lets face it, thats what they really want to crack. I cant see them touring in the UK now as frequent as what they have been doing as the gigs have been getting bigger and better back home. I do think they should break for a couple of weeks though, Caleb seemed rather strange "i just want to have friends" and tired at T on Friday.

A couple of weeks? You gotta be kidding me! They need a lot more than a couple of weeks of!

They are adults tho, its up to them to have enough cop on not to push themselves too hard that they are forced to stop touring.

Ya but it seems like they've decided to go full tilt til they burn out, if thats their choice then Im happy to see them touring here and anywhere else they decide to tour

I'd prefer to see them when they are at their best and I do think they'd be better after a rest. I don't think they've decided to go at it until they burn out I think they just didn't expect the massive, massive success of OBTN and that forced them in to the massive arena tour.
