I'll be at the Houston show. I bought 2 tix as soon as they went on sale. I also won 2 tix from the local radio station the same day. I picked them up the other day, really shitty seats. Oh well, they were free.

So I just got a call from my brother and he decided today that he was going to go to the show because he finally wanted to see what I have been fussing about over the past couple of years... they won him over! He told me, don't know how reliable this is, that during one of the songs Caleb forgot the lyrics and had to stop? He also told me that Caleb said their mom was in the audience Anyways excited to hear reviews from people who know more about them than my brother haha

I was in general admission last night, barrier in front of Matt. My two friends and I totally rocked it out and sang every song and were each given a drumstick!! One of my favorites parts before the show was watching Nacho bartend. He poured vodka in one cup then pulled out a bottle of whiskey. The bottle had a homemade label on it!! Maybe they picked it up while in OKC last weekend!! I will say Caleb and Jared were way more into it in Houston than in Austin. Jared never once looked into the crowd on Friday and he waved and looked around many times last night. My friend and I even got a goofy face from Nathan because we kept waving at him!! It was a great show. I will say the crowd wasn't the best. They didn't singalong to any of the old stuff. And I noticed a lot of people only singing the chorus of the new stuff. Four Kicks and KOTR were my favorites last night. Matt was having a lot of problems with his sound. I knew there were a couple of points he was supposed to be playing but wasn't. He just shook his head at Nacho and Caleb. I'm not sure if they cut a song during the encore because of time. They only played three. I know Caleb was looking at his watch constantly. Yes, Nacho was on crutches. On the other site someone said Caleb said he got hurt playing golf. But what he really said was Nacho got scared by a little dog and hurt himself. He was clearly joking and Nacho started laughing and said something like, "I'm going to kick your butt for that one!" I looked immediately over at Nacho after Caleb said that and he was just shaking his head laughing! But I will say he looked like he was in some major pain when trying to help with set-up. Cable stopping Trani was crazy! He sang the first two lines then confused the next. Jared and Matt turned their backs and looked at Nathan and started laughing!! He seemed a bit embarrassed. After the show about 15 of us waited for them. When they finally came out, no one stopped. They were in SUVs. The security guy told us we should have jumped in front of the car!! But, Caleb did roll down the window and wave. So that was cool!

And their mom was in attendance last night. Caleb thanked her for being there. The set list was pretty much the same as the last few shows, but Closer was not played. A lot of people on the other site are saying the GA crowd was lame. My aches and pains don't take too kindly to those remarks! I can say me and my peeps were going crazy all night! It has been so awesome getting to see them twice in four days. Now I'm sad because I don't know when I'll get to see them again.

Thanks Kelli for the review. Karma! Who gets himself so hurt playing golf, that he needs crutches? Unless one of the cousins took a club to Nacho's knee cap! Cuz Nacho was obviously, predictably winning! Caleb, dude, lay off the sauce! You've been singing Trani for almost 9 years. It's time you learned the words, considering it's one of your most popular songs.

Got run over by a golf cart? Or fell out of it? Dunno. What a trooper though to keep doing the job when he's in pain. *Get well soon Nacho!*

Apologies if this is a bit of a crap review cos I've only been home a wee while and am running on no sleep! This was by far my favourite Texas show, absolutely incredible. I don't really know why, Caleb looked so at peace up there and Jared had his little southern boogie goin on. Matt's solos were absolutely killer too! My Dad even said it was probably one of the best shows he's ever seen by a band and he has seen lots of legendary older bands, made me really chuffed to be a KOL fan after he said that! I managed to catch a stick and Caleb's hanky landed infront of me but it got thrown into the crowd Kellidawn you must have been literally next to me cos I was barrier infront of Matt too! SO happy to hear KOTR back for that show, gutted they've been missing out My Party though. Was kinda hoping to hear Trani, especially as the people I met in the queue have been dying to hear it live in the US and got so excited when it started. I love how hilarious Jared found it all I thought the crowd were really good, everyone around me seemed to know most if not all songs played which made me happy too! This show made me fall in love with them all over again. So worth it

It's funny because while waiting in the GA line I made friends with another Sarah from the other site. So glad to hear you got a drumstick! I did too and it makes me smile every time I look at it.
