Ok, well my friend JUST called me to tell me something that's pretty ridiculous. So she went to the Jay Leno show taping and she went to the parking lot to see them / get their autograph. Well she and 3 other people (keep in mind ONLY FOUR PEOPLE WERE THERE WAITING) and they waited in the sun for 30 min then they saw a white van coming and my friend said she could clearly see caleb sitting in the passenger seat. Well, she started saying to them "please stop for just a second !" and the other 3 people were saying the same thing...then caleb gave them a look of disgust and the driver continued driving without stopping for a second.
really caleb ? REALLY? I'm really upset over this , since i love them!!! I'm curious if it was just caleb that didn't want to stop or the whole band didn't care about the people waiting....

simliar thing happened to me and about 5 other ppl in bournemouth, we waited for about an hour in the pissing rain and cold and they just drove past us, i could see jared caleb and matt for sure, no look of disgust but still...
maybe they had somewhere very important to be!

You can get upset about anything if you fill in the blanks about why they didn't stop or what the look on his face meant. The reality is that she was lucky and saw them drive by. Anything beyond that is a projection of your friends disappointment. Sorry if that sounds harsh.

that doesn't sound harsh missus! it's true...
it isn't their choice rather they get to stop or not! they have a managment team that tells them where to be at every second!
as far as the disgusted look... maybe jared farted at that same moment? nobody knows what was going through caleb's head or why he had a particular look on his face and it's very unfair to speculate!

i know guys, i understand that there are other factors - but i'm just really bummed that they drove by cause she was SO CLOSE to them, yet so far (and she promised to get me an autograph)
and seriously , come on - how would you feel if you saw caleb and he gave you a look of disgust ? Regardless of how he's feeling it still sucks that somebody that you adore wouldn't even smile / wave at you.

We've had pretty big debates over this and, personally, I'm more on your side. If there were "other factors" involved, they could've rolled down the window or something. There's always something you can do, no matter how small, so I don't feel as if "other factors" is too good of an excuse.
On the other hand, they have been coming out and meeting fans a bit more lately. So I don't think they are purposefully trying to spite their fans...but I do think that they could've acknowledged your friend and the others in some way.

Maybe Caleb's look of disgust was directed at the driver, cuz he wouldn't stop. I could see if maybe they displayed this behavior many times but most of their fans have had good experiences meeting them. Now i'm about to watch Jay Leno,wooohoo!!  |

the thing is - like savanna said i that they don't HAVE to stop, a simple wave or smile would have done wonders- but to completely blow off your fans is unnecessary

neither of you know the circumstances the guys were in... so please don't put thoughts into their heads!
i highly doubt caleb would give fans a disgusted look... i'm sure there was some exageration going on there or once again interpretting a situation in which this person had no idea what caleb was thinking or what was going on in the van

if there were only four people did they even know those people were there for them....
if they were inside a van i highly doubt they heard these people yelling for them!!!
once again... don't speculate if you weren't there to know the situation unless you were in the van with them!!!

well my friend was wearing a Kings of Leon shirt , 2 girls were waving posters , and the other one i don't know i think she said she had their rolling stones magazine...
i'm not trying to assume anything, it's just frustrating to go out of your way and have them not respond to you.

It's sucks when someone you admire comes off differently than what you expected and I'm sorry for your friend ilovematt. As many good experiences fans have had there have also been some slightly less so ones as well, i guess it's all about the mood or the day in which you catch them. A smile or a wave don't cost anything and it's disappointing to hear this. Like someone else said we don't know the circumstances so I can't totally defend or argue one point or another. It sucks and all I can say is I'm sorry for your friend  maybe one day you will get to see them in person and have a better story to tell? |

it's probably also frustrating for the band to have people go online and exagerate and speculate about what was going on in their heads
and probably frustrating for them to not be able to ackowledge all the millions of fans individually

ok, carrielinn , i understand you're a caleb fan (as am I ) but trust me as much as i want to look at the bright side this is still a sucky experience considering this was the first time she's seem them.

yeah it sucks she waited and didn't get to see them but that doesn't give her the right to go around saying caleb gave her a disgusted look
and it doesn't matter if it was caleb, nathan, matt, or jared.... i'd feel the same way

trust me, it wasn't just her saying that , the other 2 girls said the same ( i kinda know them, and they said the same).
oh well, i'm seeing them in like 2 months hopefully i can meet them, and they'll be in a good mood.
