Cold as a Grave
With the moon I run, far from the carnage of the fiery sun.

I've always felt an incredible chill when i listen to Cold Desert. It's such a beautiful song, and i really feel that i can actually relate to the lyrics - "I never even cried when i was down..." and the line "Jesus don't love me" got me really emotional the first time i heard it....
also instrumentally Arizona is a great song too, and i just feel really calm while listening to it.
you?

Cold Desert, some of the lines, like "I'm too young to feel this old" and "Nobody knows, nobody sees, nobody but me" just kinda get to me and make me feel emotional. Wicker Chair too

off the cuff, Revelry struck a chord in me when i first heard it. not so much about screwing up a relationship with someone else because i'm off partying or having fun all the time, but actually letting myself down by always doing it. if this was on BOTT it would have been the key song in the soundtrack of my sophomore year (2007). hello parties, goodbye classes. i've since changed my ways (mostly ) and that's one song that i can relate to a lot.

Sonically, Arizona does weird things to me - i get chills all over and it can take me to an entirely different place like almost no other song can do (except The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony!) But lyrically its probably Ragoo

so many songs to choose from! i love the lyrics in the bucket, especially "always remember the pact that we made / too young to die but old is the grave", makes me think about friendships etc. mcfearless makes me so motivated to do something, in the way that it is imo absoloutly incredible musically, and also the determination in the lyrics that caleb's got this music in his bones and he won't let anyone stop him from going out and playing shows etc. and i must admit manhattan never fails to make my jaw drop
: )

so, for me, its a bit of all, its all depends in what mood i am. the lines of - i ll be the one to show you the way, you´ll be the one who always complain - the bucket soft with its softy bringing of bad taste. imagine. not much the relation thing, but the view to human doing, incomplete. mc fearless- its just a bit of everyday truth. with all meetings to persons around and their own life views and emotions. fake love. to know, what is not that fake love. love this song. the runner - i talk to jesus every day- but instead of jesus there stays for me God. arizona - makes me calm and peaceful. to have the patience to get to the next second. -thinking that its sexy - yeah. wicker chair .. white wicker chair.. with the years backwards. knocked up - i´m a ghost ..i don´t care - milk. - i called i called but i can´t get through, said he´s on his own, but his own is you. adoring truth. thats a few of many, i aim a lot till now. cheers.

I love your post Onesome. I really appreciated your relationship with those songs, very thoughtful, have some karma Rememo, it's strange to be saying that song, it's kind of low profile, but I feel that situation of being stuck and frustrated and in a situation and other people not knowing or understanding what it is to be you, how things are. Trying to communicate the dislocation, aggression, tedium, fatigue. It's just there. That album is just brilliant.

On Call. Because I'm a sucker.
And Revelry... because I always fuck it up. Didn't mean to, just too impulsive not to.

Nothing beats The Runner. 'I talk to Jesus every day...Jesus says I am ok." You can substitute any god for Jesus, but the spirit of the song works every time. Happy Alone--"Let's pull over have us a choke, I love to watch you when you are dancing"--get's me every time. Just that one verse makes me utterly happy, no matter what. Arizona is just so beautiful, you can get lost in it.
