I don't know if this is a crap idea for a thread, or if there's already one like this, but, I wanted to make one just in case. ^_^
The point is to share which song you think a certain member is at his best in, e.g. for me it'd be Jared's best is in 'Razz', Nathan's is in 'Manhattan', Matthew's is in 'Black Thumbnail', and Caleb's is in 'Four Kicks'. I think the definitive peak of them all at once is 'Charmer.
Hmm... now that I think about it, I'll probably change those a million times... but not 'Charmer'. No, never 'Charmer'. :-)

jareds bass line in "closer" lebz vocals in "cold desert" mattys guitar in "knocked up" and for nate its a toss up between "knocked up" and "california waiting" but i think "knocked up" gets it!  the drums are amazing in that song! |

Nate - Knocked Up Matt - Arizona Jared - I really love the bass in pretty much every KOL song! But Fans blows me away Caleb - It's gonna have to be Trani. His voice is so diverse it's amazing! I forgot to do a guitar part for Caleb.. definitely Milk |

Maybe I should listen to 'Be Somebody' a bit more... It's not one of my faves, but Nathans drumming takes it somewhere else. The only other part I really like is Caleb's first few lines. Report back if you get into it! |

Just listened to 'Be Somebody' again... !!! I just haven't listened to it too much because I only have the album on vinyl and I don't really listen to side D because it's mainly 'Cold Desert' and that song makes me too sad.  But, yes! Nathan is fucking boss! Especially towards the end... and then all the echoing... oh, my. Lovely. Just lovely. So, you guys were right. ... but, then, in 'Manhattan' he just has all these wonderful sublties... je ne sais pas! I'm confusing myself, my head hurts. |
