^^^ Ah Mon he was priceless. The poor guy was claiming to be straight, was on the phone to his gf and all but this gay guy was not taking no for an answer and took full advantage of the guy's drunken state and took him home!
We probably should have stopped this 'date rape' but I was laughing way too hard!

Here's a prime example of silly fan girl-dom from Manchester .... Hope it doesn't cause offence but the profile is public and I'm pretty sure this person is not a member of HA. Aw ruthie i'm sorry you were surrounded by twats, i know it drives me nuts too to have people at prime spots at a gig who havent even bothered to listen to an album nevermind the catalogue of the band, but as people have already posted..its a fact of life at the mo  Just think of all us Ha'ers at oxegen though rocking the pit (plus me and sarah have decided to wee on any SOF'ers shoes if needs be ) Sounds like you guys had more craic after the gig though..JEALOUS |

To be fair to the girl on twitter - jessie obviously didn't mind because she answered her (we dont know how they actually feel about things but jessie obviously does and has a sense of humour I expect)

i was at the monday gig and i was so happy they played a lot of their old stuff. But it does annoy me to when it feels like your the only one singing to trani or milk for example. i was in the stands for this gig and im normally down the front. it was my dads first KOL concert and he loved it so all is well xx |

^^^ Oops, I didn't mean for it to sound like KOL fans have changed. That's not what I meant. I don't dislike newer fans either. What I do dislike is the new people, who only have an interest in one/two songs and have no interest in getting to know their other stuff. The people who like SOF only and what the guys look like. There's lots of new fans who only got in to them recently and have embraced the music and that's fantastic because the more people that genuinely appreciate KOL music the better Silly fan girls is the perfect word Tic, that's who/what I dislike! Hope I haven't caused confusion. Maybe I caused the confusion I was agreeing with you to an extent (tho my experience of the gig was a bit different.) I think I was trying to be reassuring (to myself too) that KOL fans haven't changed at all, it's just that there's this extra stuff going on now. To me it's alright for people to only like on or two songs, so long as they don't get in the way of my good time. Lucky for me they didn't! Your drunk was hilarious - poor bloke! |

Well, another amazing night with Kings of Leon. I was at the O2 on Monday and they never played California Waiting so I was very happy when it came on last night! I danced and sung all night. My mate and I woah woahed and sang about "little bumps of cocaine" like crazy women (helped along by several £4 pints of cider) I thought the atmosphere was great, better than last Monday (again could have been down the cider ). Seats in block 101 from the KOL website were great, we could see the guys and Nathan has clearly got some guns! I really enjoyed being able to tell who was actually playing which bit, which is something I will remember when listening to the songs from now on. People have pretty muched covered the set list etc... but I haven't seen any mention of a guy filming them. I'm convinced he kept wondering around stage with this big professional looking camera....Now what are you going do with that boys? While I could clearly see them, the flash on the camera wasn't playing ball. I'll post the pics that I did manage to take (clearly)... hope there isn't too many Enjoy..., I know I did! Em was it monday you went?? i as in block 101 on mon too!!! great seats!! and i think that big camera was for the screens. i kept checking when they did different angles where it was |

Upload them to tinypic (or if there on your facebook that'll work too) the right click on the image, copy, open properties, and copy the location..usually ending in jpg. Then paste it between ![]() and [/img] leaving no gap. Hope that makes sense |
