Nathan totally stared at me the whole time. Matthew was looking at Jennifer. Caleb waved and smiled to us. No pics from me cuz I accidentally deleted them. On hotel compy, so this is very brief. Best show they've done in my opinion.

Alright JUST got home, I took the VERY long way back by accident because I was jamming SO HARD to Aha in my car and I missed the exit, blah, I also ended up having to pull over and hurl for a moment, ugh. Anyways can I just say HOW FREAKING AMAZING THE SHOW WAS!!!! Ahhhhh, if anyone can see Nathan's twitter even he agrees that Virginia loves the kings. Okay let me start by saying I do not have the set list, I apologize I just can't multitask during a Kings show to save my life!!! I can tell you they did not play KOTR or McFearless but still an amazing show! So I went to pick up Jaz and let me just tell you we had MAJOR technical difficulties, like MAJOR. We had aimed to be there by 3ish we didnt get there until closer to 6. Anyways there was already a line formed for the GA section, but it wasnt too bad, eventually they started giving us wristbands and a second line formed, I got in that one and told Jas to stay in our previous line just in case they wouldn't let us in at the same time. Well they opened the doors and I totally floored it, I just started running and asking people where to go. Now I am EXTREMELY terrified of heights and especially stadium steps, but idk how I did it I just ran down them like my life depended on it, I got a spot right in front of where Matty would be a little to his right. I saved room for Jas and eventually we waited. I'm going to skip over some drama in which these VERY young girls started flirting with security to try to get in front of Lebby, I think they were able to accomplish it but whatevs, we still had our spot. So we waited and they got started around 9:20- 9:30 which felt a lot later than the Boston shows start time. The boys come out and I am literally freaking out, there is nothing in front of me except a small barricade and Matt's glorious face. They started off with Crawl and I was just rocking out hard, this is when Jas said that Matt was starring at me for a little bit which I can believe because no one to my right was really rocking out yet. I can't believe I missed that, and let me tell you the way Matt was going on that guitar tonight definitely made my mind go into the gutter...that man...rawr. So they go onto Taper Jean girl and from here I just stopped keeping track of the order of songs. The stadium was going INSANE, it was smaller than the Boston venue but people's energy definitely made up for it. You could see it in their faces, the Kings were really amped, Caleb kept going over to Matt and smiling while saying something and matt would agree and look around. Caleb mentioned how great the crowd was a couple of times and he definitely kept saying things like how much it means to him, it was difficult to hear exactly what he was saying with all the yelling. They also played the devil song which clearly a couple of people in the audience knew because they kept screaming for it. I'm telling you guys VA definitely should have more HAers on here considering how many people knew more than just SOF. The boys were amazing, I can't even describe how I felt being SO CLOSE to them and feeling their energy, being able to see every facial expression and just be so CLOSE. It was an amazing experience and the boys were amazing. Oh and at the end of Black Thumbnail (which they closed the show with ) Matt and Caleb started rocking out HARD, Matt actually got on Nathan's drum stand and just started going at it, I am telling you I almost had a fit right there! I am trying to remember the small details but right now it's all just a big emotional blur and I am freaking exhausted! I have been sick all week which is the reason I couldn't yell as much during the show, but overall this was def one of the most amazing experiences ever. Pics and video coming very soon!!! Edits: *for my Nooglers Nathan wore a really ~pretty~ blue tank and he was DEFINITELY smiling A LOT during the show, I never thought that man could smile that much. Unfortunetly I never got one on film *also I couldn't take as many pics because my batteries ran out, I swore I put fresh ones in but alas I forgot. Also security got really angry if they even THOUGHT you were taking video. *like always SOF and use somebody were crowd pleasers but I am telling you this crowd knew a lot of their older songs, people went crazy with On Call, Charmer, Taper Jean Girl, and My Party. Caleb is such an amazing performer, he just captures your attention and holds it with his shimmy shakes, his facial ticks, and the emotion you feel when he belts out a song.

Wow!! Great review and pics. So glad to hear MD/DC/NOVA rocked out and showed the guys some love. This is the show we desperately tried to get GA tickets for and couldn't. Can't tell you how jealous i am right now. You are so so lucky. Definitely looking forward to the vids. I have to see Matt going mental on Nate's drum riser.

Gaaaaaah thank you for that youtube link, the security was SOOO strict in the front, one of them kept giving me the stink eye because my camera would take a while to flash so I know he thought I was trying to take video!

This was my first GA experience. Loved it! Major difficulties doesn't even begin to explain it, but yeah, Nathan totally wanted me that night. I like how animated Matt is now and Caleb, yeah, he was rockin' hard. Jared was too far away for me to do anything with and I just wish he'd not stand so far away from everyone else, but he was makin' some bass faces for sure. I'm sore all over you guys. Woo-hoo! All these pics of me are blah, but gotta give Jennifer a major shoutout for putting up with my disoriented ass.

I just realized that we are talking about the Fairfax gig and not the Norfolk one which hasn't happened yet, btw. Yeah, you guys all scared the shit out of me when I checked the boards last night - I'm going to the Norfolk gig tonight and just about had 20 heart attacks when everyone was suddenly talking about how good it WAS!!!!!! Donnnnn't do that to me, man!

The show last night in Norfolk was SO good! Jared didn't turn his back on the crowd for more than a few seconds, which was nice. He started grinning really big when some girl was crowd surfing. Nathan was smiling and talking to the guys/crew all through some of the songs, blowing bubbles as big as his face as usual! Caleb sounded really really well. I could only see Matthew a couple of times, unfortunately. I had a direct view of the bro's, though, through pretty much the whole thing from Jared's side. Really really good show. I see someone has a couple of full songs from the gig up on youtube, it is worth checking out and thank you to that person if you happen to be registered on this forum. THANK YOU.
