They looked and sounded awesome! Ann Curry and Natalie Morales were "rocking out"  Maybe it's too early and the crowd was too sleepy to get excited? |

UGH!!! I'm so mad!!! the local news cut off their SOF performance!!! so lame!!! but good thing I can watch it online!!! It was cut off for everyone, but they showed the full version at the very end of the show. Anyways, I recorded the whole thing; all four hours of it!! Caleb was so nervous, it was heart warming. They all looked pretty nervous actually. And I agree with everyone on the crowd...I think I saw ONE person sing along. No dancing, no nothing. I have to say I wasn't surprised though...and I kind of cringed when Meredith said "you're gonna be the next U2!" I knew Caleb was probably cringing inside also! Well I loved it. It was so nice to hear Notion live, since they've only been playing Use Somebody everywhere. And they all looked gorgeous of course |

I think I just saw Laura in the crowd, was she there?? I didn't recognize anyone else. yeah that crowd looked pretty asleep, and I can't believe there was so much space between people, nobody was even trying to get a better view! Ugh, turds!

and I kind of cringed when Meredith said you're gonna be the next U2! aside from that, it was a decent interview. ann's jamming to the music made me laugh out loud and then was so embarrassed...ugh...ann.... (side note: I met her, um, at the today show, about 8 years ago, she is an intense lady). but really the whole interview I was looking at nathan seeing what he was doing...I felt bad, I kind of wanted to say 'nobody put's baby in the corner' or something to that nature... the crowd was a today show crowd...can't expect too much...even if they are there to see the band. the one thing that ticked me off the most was that they showed the crowd entirely too much! I didn't tune in to see the crowd(and ann curry) awkwardly looking in the camera and trying to sing along....I hate that....no offense if any of you were there.... |

Just watched the videos. I was highly amused by the soccer moms, tweens, and middle-aged news anchors bopping about to the Kings. I'm not even joking- It's really endearing to me how KOL brings everyone together. My fave is when Anne Curry had her eyes closed and was rocking out in her own little way to "Notion". It gave me the warm and fuzzies. It's like she was having a flashback of her glory days as a Deadhead or something.
P.S- I loved how Caleb looked in the camera and almost gave gave a wee smile saying "head while I'm driving" in SOF. He was like a little kid that got away with saying a curse word.
