i saw a video from the msg show and i saw someone with a yellow sign that said play genius? i think.
did they play it?

As good as the show was, it was the exact same show I saw in Ohio 2 days earlier. The only thing added was the overhead monitor so you could see close ups of the band, but other than that there was no difference. You'd think they'd have pulled out a special song just for the occasion. I expected something more than just their regular tour set, but whatever. I did take my event poster to the framer's today. It will be sweet.  |

Schnucams, or anyone else who went, were you expecting their regular set or something "extra"? Frankly, I was a little surprised that they did nothing more than their regular set considering its somewhat of a milestone to play MSG.

i dont think my expectations were that high for it...i was pretty pleased they played Trani..Arizona would have been amazing but ya cant have it all!
still surprised they didnt play KOTR tho..that seemed a bit odd to me..

down_with_sleeves - absolutely disgustingly jealous of your up and coming gigs in MA, Uncle stays there and I adore the place, always wanted to see the Kings there.
Does anyone have any footage of the MSG gig??

I have experienced NYC last May. I was impressed, yeah, but they are two different cities. I love the way Boston is real laid back, thats what vibe I got anyway. Cool, thanks. No actual video footage though? This should be a dvd!!

^^yea i havent seen any official footage from the gig, which is a real shame!
boston definitel has its upsides..i do like how it's much safer than NYC and just sucha college town..but i can't see myself ever settling down here..the boston accent annoys me way too much and the Red Sox fans are more than my little Yankees heart can handle..

Haha, I dont seem to notice the accent too much. Im an adopted baseball/red sox fan so thats your own fault for residing in Boston, haha. Want to swap, I stay outside Glasgow in Scotland??  |

I defo wasnt expecting more of the old stuff and I was hoping for Arizona!! I was pretty happy with the setlist apart from that!! |
