Kings of Leon end up in fight at Brits backstage party
Kings of Leon sure know how to party. What better way to crown a brace of Brits and a standout performance than to get involved in a right royal ruck?
Things were remarkably tame at the start of their boozy backstage party at London’s Earls Court on Wednesday.
But then Jared Followill’s girlfriend spotted her bassist bloke chatting up a girl in Alesha Dixon’s band.
Fuming with rage she started chucking water all over the place, soaking the poor girl from head to toe. And then it all kicked off.
An onlooker said: “Jared’s girlfriend was not happy. She went ballistic and the next minute more than 20 people had all piled into the bust-up.
“It was comical seeing little Nicole Appleton wading in to try and keep the peace. Alesha kept out of the way, but Mel Blatt thought it was hilarious.”
Our insider adds: “The lads had been tucking into the free booze and things got a bit lairy.

Kings of Leon members fight after Brit awards
US rock band Kings of Leon was involved in a backstage brawl after the Brit awards.
Lead singer Caleb Followill and his cousin Matthew Followill ended up fighting, thesun.co.uk reports.
A source said: 'Matthew has been struggling with the attention all the other members of the band are getting - especially from girls. He's always the last one to be asked for an autograph. He hasn't been feeling as much a part of things, especially at big events like the Brits. Caleb was winding him up all night, unintentionally, and all of a sudden something snapped and they just went for each other. It was like a proper old fashioned bar-room brawl. They weren't messing about, there were some serious punches being thrown.
