The other day I was at a party and i met a girl who loves / used to love KOL (she met them and Nacho taught her a dance... but thats off topic  ) ANYWAY she said one of her best friends has been seeing them in Europe shows / festivals etc. and that they have been slowing down the old songs. i hadn't noticed until she said it, but take some recordings LIKE Trani (Live on Day Old Belgian Blues) and Trani (Live at Glastonbury 2008) and the glasto one is waaaayyy slower. i'm not whining about this i love the slow one. Just wondering what ya'll think, is it good? is it bad? do you not care because it makes the songs last longer ( ) discussssssssss |

I dont think its a bad thing as such, but part of the reason i like the older stuff so much mroe is because it really gets you going! Like you can totally go crazy to wasted and joes head, but when they get slowed down....it doesnt have the same vibe and feel to it.
I think id prefer if the quick/upbeat songs were kept that way, as most of the new stuff is slower, they need to keep the old stuff rocking!

I noticed that actually, the T in the Park Trani is way slower...but none the less lovely. I guess it would work with some, not so well with others...

It's actually a little disappointing. I mean, I love how fast and uptempo some of their older stuff is and it's great so why change the speed?

I prefer the older versions of some of the songs, I love Trani slower though because I never want it to end  I was listening to the Birmingham bootleg and realised My Party, Razz and Molly's Chambers seemed really slow? They should be kept fast so you can boogie! |

My Party's the worst when its slowed but most of the other stuff i don't mind cos i like hearing it different live to what ive listened to a gazzilion times on the album (even tho i still love it!)

I prefer Trani slower but it's criminal when they slow down Razz, KOTR and stuff like that. I love it when they play Wasted Time, Charmer, Four Kicks etc faster though |
