I just wanted to post a message to the boys to say a huge congratulations. You guys totally deserved this and what a year for you - Glastonbury headliners, selling out MSG and now Grammy winners. Youth and Young Manhood, Ah Ha Shake Heartbreak, Becuase of the Times and Only by the Night - the Grammy is for all the hard work on all the albums not just the latest one. Your music does something to us all and well friggin' done boys! Enjoy your night x  |

I remember first hearing them back in 2004, and this moment just means a lot. I don't care about all the people who are going to bitch and complain about the new music and that they should have won for something else. Just congratulate them. It's an amazing feat, considering the talent they were going up against. Conratz boys, this chick is still proud.

It's been a long time coming here in the U.S, and y'all definitely deserve the love and recognition you are getting!!! We could not be prouder and hope that you guys feel all the love and happiness that your fans feel for you! 2008 was a great year for you, but I have a feeling 2009 will be spectacular. Your music has touched so many people, and we just hope you continue being the remarkable band that you are.

It's been a fun ride following this band since I first heard Red Morning Light while playing a soccer video game in late 2003. There is a little vindication for me tonight. Sure, I have F all to do with this, and the overall feelings/accomplishments of the band other than buying albums and shirts, but it's a good feeling nontheless.
Onward and upward!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For those who seem to spend time harping on OBTN..... you can either join all of us for the next chapter in Kings of Leon or you can get off the wagon. Either way, we're moving on!
