Sorry, annoying side note: Sarah Rose, I grew up in Charleston, in the same house until I left for college. How long have you been there?

umm about four years. i was born here, lived outside of charleston for two years and then moved a few hours away. charleston has always felt like a second home to me.

Tickets are all 1 price for this show. We do not have a floor map, as of yet, to tell you if there are General Addmission tickets available.

Crappy that I don't know for sure yet about general admission, but i'm optimistic all will work out. Will post the minute I know, whenever that'll be. tickets go up for sale this friday at 10 so i'm sure we'll know the details soon enough. i'm stressing over nothing i know.

tickets just showed up on ticketmaster and there is general admisison. yay. i know i was stressing myself out over nothing, but whatever, it's what i do.

how many does this place hold? if i go i will be trying to get lower level seats... but it looks like a small place

why not get general admission?

as far as occupancy goes it all depends on what kind of 'end stage' they use like either 360 degrees (12,645), 270 degrees (10,683), or 180 degrees (8,835). i've never been to the coliseum so i dunno what it's like.

i feel lame i dowloaded the venues specs document. lol.

It actually happens to be on the weekend right after my finals...and by the looks of this semester's load already, i think my friends and i will deserve a little beach/ kol/ drunken road trip. Let me just get this straight first...it is gen. ad., right? Oh, and capacity wise...does anyone think it'll sell out within the next few weeks?

oooh road trip sounds like fun. ummm, there seems to be general admission as well as three different levels of reserved seats (top to floor: upper level seating, lower level seating, and riser seating) when i go through the process and choose one ticket in each section i seem to get seats that are closest to the stage so i'm presuming that not many tickets have been sold. as far as general admission goes it'll let me buy 50 tickets. so again i'm presuming not many tickets have been sold.

not sure how i feel about this. i want them to be successful and feel like they have love in south carolina, but if it doesn't sell out i hope they aren't upset. i guess it just depends, if the crowd is into them regardless.

do all their gigs sell out?

you know i went back and read your reply and it got me thinking about what it actually looked like inside. i figured it was rather large, what with the numbers in their venue specs download but by the looks of it, you're right, it's not that big, still large but not huge. which is actually good i think. when i first saw them it was in downtown charleston at a small music venue/bar and i'm glad that this next time it's not going to be like in a place as big as madison suare garden.

because i'm procrastinating i've found a picture of the inside. i think this will be their setup, 270 degree end stage. it'll probably look like this except no seats on the floor.
