Hello!
Ok, I don't post a whole lot, but I have to post my review from tonight's show!
This is the second time I have seen KOL, and was the best show so far. I don't have the setlist, but I think it's the same as the previous ones. Four song encore included. Cold Desert and Four Kicks were highlights, and Trani blew me away. Amazing! Caleb was chatty for Caleb. He said something along the lines of "Sometimes we just play to a room and go through the motions, and I wasn't too sure about this show when I saw it on the schedule, but we are feeling the love". He later went on to say how he didn't think Detroit liked them very much when they first started, and they would love to come play in Lansing again, he said he wouldn't mind being snowed in even though they have a show tomorrow night. It was awesome. I was actually impressed by the crowd. Obviously more people know "Sex on Fire", but the people around me seemed to be familiar with all of their stuff. Now here's the great part...
I met the band
Matt was nowhere to be seen, but the rest of the guys came out and signed anything people wanted, and were SO nice. Nathan was videotaping again, and asked us if all campus cops are douchebags. lol. Jared was just as nice, making sure everyone got everything they wanted signed, and didn't leave until they did. I didn't really see them taking any pictures, and it all went by so fast because it is FREEZING cold here. So then Caleb comes out (I'm a Caleb girl that's for sure). I met a nice girl there, and she was like "Ok, he's not taking any pics, but let's see if we can take a fast one when he comes over". He's as nice as can be, just like the others, and makes sure everyone has there stuff signed. (Also, whomever has said before that he smells amazing-totally true) So we are last, and I tell him Trani was amazing and he said "Aw, thanks, I really appreciate that, really". He tells me that he thinks this was the best show of the tour and that he had a great time. So then I ask for the pic. He's like, hmmmm, I didn't really take any, and my beer is getting warm inside. So I tell him, c'mon, there's only two of us left here! And then he says yes
Sorry this is so long! Anyway, moral of the story. They are a great band, and great guys. I have to get the pic of Caleb and I from my new friend I met at the show, but I will post the others I have. I'm on a KOL high right now
