Hey everyone! Just letting you know Kings Of Leon made number one on Triple J's hottest 100 for 2008! Triple J is an australian radio station, and they do a hottest 100 every year of the previous year! It's very popular over here, over 800,000 people voted! They were also... #70 - Crawl #24 - Closer #3 - Use Somebody and of course #1 - Sex on Fire Wooo Go KOL!!!!!!!  |

i was expecting Manhattan, and was very surprised that closer got 24.
sex on fire was always going to get number 1, and use somebody at number 3....man, thats got to be some sort of record?
ALSO did anyone else think there was more hip hop than usual?

manhattan barely got played on aussie radio, good to see they realeased revelry a couple days back...yeah theyre massive here rod laver arena sold out in 7 minutes!

i was at an official "hottest 100 countdown" australia day party yesterday
the people actually applied and got coasters and stuff
ANYWAY
when it was like "number one... sex on fire" i went nuts!

what station is triple j. to tell u the truth ive never listened to it, but since they play kings of leon might start listening to it. nova play heaps of kings of leon too, they play revelry alot, and manhattan too. triple j have been playing kings of leon since they began, as opposed to the other stations which jumped onto kings when sex on fire came out. it's 107.5 in melbourne speaking of radio. a guy rang up the radio one day and requested sex on fire. when radio presenter said his favourite album was because of the times, the guy said he hadn't heard of it. they still play way too much aussie hip hop (spew)

I was so suprised that Sex on Fire was the number one song, I was sure MGMT or The Presets were gonna get the top spot.
But its good they got it, they deserved it.
